1. COSMESOMETM
CHARACTERISTICS
CosmesomeTM is a highly concentrated lipid
formulation for cosmetic industry that forms nano-sized
liposomes upon dilution of the formulation
with water using standard mixing devices.
CosmesomeTM is composed of high purity saturated
soy phospholipids and vitamin A, vitamin E, and lipid
soluble form of vitamin C that form liposomes with
high encapsulation and incorporation efficiency. The
formulation is colorless and odorless.
CosmesomeTM is composed of proprietary blend of
phospholipids, vitamin A, vitamin E, and lipid soluble
form of vitamin C in the form of interdigitated lipids.
Hydration of these lipids with water causes
rearrangement of the lipid bilayers which
spontaneously forms liposomes. If water- soluble
active ingredients, such as peptides, minerals or
other water soluble molecules, are dissolved in water
and added to CosmesomeTM , liposomes with high
entrapment of the active molecule is formed. If lipid
soluble molecules such as lipid soluble molecules or
antioxidants are added to CosmesomeTM and
hydrated with water, the lipid soluble molecule will
be incorporated into the lipid bilayers of the
liposomes. Up to 65% of a water soluble molecule in
the solution is encapsulated inside the liposomes and
almost 100% of lipid soluble molecules is
incorporated into the lipid bilayers of the liposomes.
Since the lipids that are used in the formulation are
saturated, the formulation has to be heated to above
65°C after hydration for at least 20 minutes.

STORAGE CONDITION
Stable for 24 months in its original closed packaging
below 8℃ (preferred to be kept in refrigerator).
Reclose container immediately after use and protect
from direct sunlight. If container is opened, keep
container in refrigerator at 4℃ and use within 3
months.
