This document provides descriptions of various teas and coffees available from Tsakafi.com. It describes 8 types of tea - Green Tea, Darjeeling Tea, Jasmine Leaf, Chamomile Leaf, Nilgiri Leaf, White Tea, Doors, and Assam CTC. It also describes 4 types of coffee - Filter Coffee, KITB, Organic, and Affiancado. • GREEN TEA
• DESCRIPTION
Supposed to have medicinal properties
but imagine what happens when
preservatives are added, packaged and
kept on a shelf for many weeks. This is
the green stuff. Don’t’ waste a cup for it.
Make a huge tall glass and keep sipping.
If it’s evening and cold add some salt,
crack some black pepper. If it’s later,
please feel free to add some brandy to it.
• DARJJEELING TEA
• DESCRIPTION
Let’s just say it’s called ‘champagne of
teas’. Don’t’ add milk. Not more than a
spoonful , if you must. Be innovative. For
winters, crack some black pepper and
add some salt. Voila!!
5. TSA
• JASMINE LEAF
• DESCRIPTION
This is the sophisticated stuff. If you
haven’t had this, you’re still arriving.
Put a few leaves in the infuser, seep
it in hot ( 90 deg hot) for 2-3
minutes, sit back. Don’t add milk,
don’t add sugar. Make a tall glass and
keep sipping .It’s not the leaves that
are different, it’s the flower that
gives the perfume.
• CHAMOMILE LEAF
• DESCRIPTION
This is the sophisticated stuff. If you
haven’t had this, you’re still arriving.
Put a few leaves in the infuser, seep

6. TSA
• NILGIRI LEAF
• DESCRIPTION
This is fine leaf tea from The
Western Ghats. As against
its eastern cousin, this is
more full bodied and with a
longer after taste. Best
without milk.
• WHITE TEA
• DESCRIPTION
The Kohinoor of teas. Just
seep it and have it. Reuse
the leaves for eye pads.

• DESCRIPTION
This is the CTC chai made in the
Dooars region, basically the
strong tea from the Darjeeling
area. Innovation is the key. Milk is
an important ingredient.

Cut Twist Curl is the technical
expansion of CTC but forget it.
This is the tea used for masala

9. KAFI
• FILTER
• DESCRIPTION
Added in 70:30 with coffee: chicory, this
is made in the traditional south Indian
filter coffee. Imagine the smell of coffee
and jasmine flowers to wake up to. Kill
the jasmine if you don’ t like them. It’s
just an option. First Class Peabury is used
for this.
First Class ( Peabury)
It’s just a grade of coffee. Peabury
because the bean is not flat and shaped
like a pea. It’s of high quality and roasts
evenly because of its shape and when
ground and brewed gets to be heavenly.
• KITB
• DESCRIPTION
KITB ( Kick in the B*^%) ( strong, body,
wholesome) – STRONG
Strong Coffee: Blend of Arabica and
Robusta. Arabica is high quality elevation
beans and robusta is premium washed.
This is what you add with Milk for a
Cappuccino, Latte and even cold coffees.
If you like your coffee strong, use this.
10. KAFI
• ORGANIC
• DESCRIPTION
As the name suggest, it’s organic,
minimum fertilizer, maximum nutrition
and great caffeine. It’s the sugar, milk
and cream that’s unhealthy. This will
even give a kick to your metabolism.
• AFFICIANADO
• DESCRIPTION
AFFICIANADO – LIGHT / AROMATIC /
FLAVOURFUL – LIGHT
Believe us when we say it’s been tried
out ten thousand times at least. Basically
a blend of high elevation Arabica, it goes
best without milk , is light and your home
will reel with the aroma when it’s being
brewed. The name doesn’t matter. Go
ahead and enjoy it and share with all of
us. Americano, Aeropress , Plunger for
the initiated. Avoid milk if you can. A
spoon if you must.
