New Riverside Ochre Co's NIROX™ 500 is a concentrated natural iron oxide pigment with a median particle diameter of < 1 micron and 6 Hegman grind. The particle size, iron oxide concentration and refractive index of 2.83 make it an excellent pigment for plastics, coatings, paper and other applications where a buff color and good opacity are desired. The NIROX™ series of products are lightfast, insoluble in water and non-reactive with solvents, oils and most resins.
