Process Analysis Audience
Process of Analysis
First in my process, I selected I need to figure out my audience demographics. Our school has a business school, a cosmetology school, a culinary
school, and a medical school. With that said, I believe my audience to be those who want to attend college. More specifically, male and femalehigh
school seniors, non–working and working married and single men and women. These men and are also do not have a lot of money and want to finish
in a faster period of time than the norm. They want to be able to graduate and get a job as soon as possible and waste no time.
Second in my process, I had to assess what I need to know about my audience, I learned that I needed to know a bit more about the above males and
females. For example,...show more content...
Because of our business and culinary programs my audience also consists of married and single men and fathers, but there are definitely more
women here at the college. Cindy, from her peer feedback, helped me clarify that I do want potential students to be the main focus of my audience.
Cindy (2015) Second, I found that these men and women do use social media, mostly Facebook. However, Latrice also suggests in her peer feedback
that many like her do blog and live chat. Latrice (2015) Third, I found during the analysis that if my college spent more money and time on social
media instead of the traditional methods they use, this would drastically change things for the

Free Writing Process
When it comes to writing a paper, we all have been there when we are struggling to keep the flow of your paper going towards the subject of your
paper. Here, are some ways I can help you along. Well, number one is the outline to have a good outline is to have a good paper. Next, is freewriting
being able to free write is one of the best ways to get started. After freewriting, comes the thesis statement which is the sentence or two that brings the
reader in and explains the focus of the paper to its entirety. Finally, is the vocabulary, which is the single most important part ofwriting paper because it
deals with being able to find that right word and to know the definition of that word and every other word in the paper.
When it comes to outlining the best thing to do is to create an outline, no matter how bad you are at it. A small outline is better than no outline, when it
comes to creating an outline, picture it as a skeleton that all your ideas hang from, such as the arm is your thesis and the conclusion is the head, limbs
can be taken away to help your writing needs. Very helpful information because an outline can be very difficult to attempt when you don't have these
tools.
What I have learned from the freewriting article that was given to me, there was a great idea to start your essay before you try writing, don't...show more

Make sure to keep the word, definition, and a sentence using that word and study those words you have chosen. Soon you will feel comfortable with
these words and know how to use them in everyday life when the right moment occurs. Lastly, when it comes to vocabulary know the roots are a
great way to break down a word and where it comes from. Because over half of the English language derives from the Greek or Latin

Writing Process Summary And Analysis
I have learned that it isn't as black and white as I once thought to write an essay. I was taught like I am sure most every other student was that there
are certain rule to writing and you have to follow those rules no matter what. Not only were we told that but then we were grades and criticized or it.
We have learned by example that we are wrong if we go a little bit outside the box when writing for a teacher. The articles I read today have made me
feel a whole lot better about myself and my writing because it gives me more of a range to explore my abilities. Writing is a form of art to me and
unfortunately it is hard to be told exactly what you have to write. Knowing that there are possibilities out there of learning as well as being creative

Assignment: A Process Analysis
This Assignment is a process commentary and self–reflection of an interview that was done by using the flinders chronic conditions self–management
(FCCSM) tools. There will be a brief description included to allow for a background of the volunteer who was interviewed. The volunteer that was
interviewed was female in her 20s. She has recently been diagnosed with Diabetes type 2, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and acquired polycystic ovaries
syndrome after having her son. As the volunteer had never completed the flinders program before I made sure that I explained it to her, consent was
then given. The interview was conducted in the living room of the volunteer's home to make the interview as comfortable as possible for her. The
volunteer started...show more content...
I do think that some of these questions did seem to be a little recurrent but due to this repetitiveness it allowed the volunteer to open up a little more
which provided more information. For the majority of the questions I was giving the volunteer 5's which I believe to suitable scoring due to that she
has just been diagnosed and for 5's would indicate that she is doing all that she can to self–manage her chronic conditions. After completing the C&R
part we discussed the scoring and why we gave them scores and we both agreed that a 5 is where she is best at right now. I believe that the C&R
section did take a long time to complete this time as it was of a volunteer who was just diagnosed with her chronic conditions whereas the last time I
completed it the volunteer was a self–manager and he had used the tool before. During the problems and goals (P&G) assessment the volunteers
knew exactly what her problems were and what she wanted to do in order fix the problem. She said that she would like to see the diabetes educator
so that she could have control of her blood sugars so that she would be able to feel healthy again. She saw that her main problem that that due to
having pain from her arthritis that wasn't able to go out on the weekends to do things with her son like she usually did every weekend before her

Process Analysis: How to build a computer Essay
How to Build a Computer from scratch Every fully functioning computer is made of the same basic components and here I'll walk through the basic
hardware you'll need for your first build. There are several components a computer. However, it's important to first understand what each component
does. The processor (CPU) is like the brain of a computer, the thing that carries out the tasks you give it. Better CPUs can perform more tasks at once,
and perform them faster. Not everyone takes full advantage of their processor's full speed, so the high–end processers are only really needed if you're
performing intensive things like gaming or video editing. It's also one of the most expensive parts of a computer, so if you aren't doing these...show

Your hard drives are what store all of your data, ranging from your operating system to your documents, music, and movies. If the RAM is your
computer's short–term memory, your hard drive is the long–term memory. It stores the things you want to keep around for a while. An optical drive,
more commonly known as a CD or DVD drive is what you'll use to read CDs, DVDs, and even Blu–Ray discs. Not everyone needs an optical drive in
his/her computer, but you'll need one to install anything from a disc. The final major component you'll need is the power supply. This does just as the
name implies, it powers the computer. Depending on what you plan on using the computer for will determine the "size" of power supply you'll need.
Just as I said with picking the case, wait to pick this out until you figure out how much power you'll need. Now that I've told you about all the
components that make up a computer it's time to start deciding which to use. While deciding make sure you read everything because you'll need to
make sure everything is compatible. Now that you've bought all your components, it's time for the moment of truth: You're ready to actually put
together the machine. Assembling your computer can seem daunting, but it's actually pretty easy. Here's what you need to do. To start, open up your
case's box, take out the case, and

Process Analysis: Anguage Arts
anguage Arts is the skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening, and viewing. For myself, I find that sometimes I am unsure on how to say a word
in the correct way. Because of this, I feel language arts is very important in my field of work. I need all of these skills because I want to make sure
that both patients and doctors understand me clearly. I don't want to be a cause for misunderstanding in getting a word or words mixed up.
RE: Language Arts 7/31/2015 4:29:45 PM Erica,
One of my biggest problems is with wording itself. I always seem to get my words mixed up, and I feel like because of that I cause confusion to
others. Language arts is definitely important and I know it will help me get better with my word choice and usage.

Process Analysis Essay: The Writing Process
Throughout the writing process for my process analysis essay, I completed many steps. The first thing I did was decide what process I wanted to
write about. I chose cake pops because they are my favorite dessert. After that I began to prewrite which includes the purpose, tone, audience, and
thesis statement. Following, I started planning. I wrote down all of the ingredients as well as the procedure in chronological order. Creating an outline
worked exceptionally well for me. It helped me form a guide to know what I would be writing about versus just winging it. Writing out all of the
ingredients and instructions ahead of time acted as a checklist for me to make sure I would not miss anything important within my essay. After I wrote

Process Analysis Reflection
Teachers in high school were constantly trying to tell you how to write their way and perfect what they thought was good writing. Little did I know
everyone's writing style is good in its own way. This academic writing class proved to me that no writing style is right or wrong, but instead all writing
styles have their own uniqueness and character to them. After reading the assigned articles and analyzing the writing process and other topics discussed
in this class, I now see writing as an extraordinary process that is different for everyone. After writing papers and getting feedback, I saw where my
writing lacked solid evidence in my rhetorical analysis paper, and I also found certain ways I can write more efficiently in my process...show more

What helped me analyze this was Carol Berkenkotter and Donald Murray's analysis of the writing process. Donald Murray was analyzed for two
months in his everyday life and they analyzed how the environment he was in when writing affected his writing outcomes. The importance of the
audience when editing was highlighted in one of the final paragraphs and I did not realize the importance of the audience really until I looked back
and thought about my writing. Even going back to junior high writing, your audience was the teacher, and your goal was to write to the teacher's
specifications. Writing is more than just sitting down and writing a dull essay. Even if it is not the first thought in your head you still have to know
your affordances, constraints, and audience in order to write effectively and edit to the best of your ability. Going into this course I was afraid my
writing style would not be good enough, or up to par with the writing style of a professor for a college writing class. The first paper I composed this
semester was a rhetorical analysis paper in which I analyzed the rhetor, the audience, the exigence, affordances, and constraints. If you would have
asked me what most of those terms meant last year at this time I would have given you a blank stare. After reading the articles from Keith
Grant–Davie, Christina Haas and Linda Flower, and Laura Carroll, my eyes were opened to what rhetorical

Rough Draft Process Analysis
When beginning to write an essay everyone has their own method of doing so. Some may like to brainstorm while others may prefer to go straight
into writing about their topic. I personally beginning every essay by collecting ideas about my topic before coordinating them into a type of diagram,
next I proceed to do my rough draft before revising over the paper and finally composing my final draft. The point of the writing process is to help
break everything down so ideas can be organized and everything can make perfect sense for not just the writer but also the reader.
Writing an essay can be difficult if a person does not know how or where to begin. I personally believe the first step of writing is to list down ideas
about the topic. After...show more content...
Proofreading and revising is a very crucial step in the writing process. If a person does not proofread then the essay they worked on may not make
sense and may overall confuse the reader. Using correct punctuation shows how sentences are supposed to be read. Once I have made sure all my
sentences are grammatically correct I then compose my final copy of the essay. Writing can be difficult if not done correctly. That is why there is a
writing process to follow. Using some type of way to group ideas together help coordinate how the essay will go. Then once the ideas are put together
the rough draft can be formed and edited. After everything has been writing accordantly the essay can then be turned in. Some may think the writing
process is just some more additional steps to getting their essay done but overall it makes the writing experience easier and more

Group Analysis: Group Process Issues
Group Process Issues Trust may be a major issue during the group process. Since the members are female middle school students, the likelihood of
them previously being betrayed by a trusted friend is great. It may be difficult for members to trust each other when disclosing personal information.
Another issue that may arise is shame. The girls may not fully self–disclose because they are ashamed about the negative self–concept they have of
themselves. It also may be difficult to say these negative thoughts about themselves out loud to other people. Hopefully, the fact that they all have some
perception of themselves will aid in enabling them to self–disclose with confidence.

Critical Thinking Process Analysis
The critical thinking course helps you understand and stimulate your thinking process enables you to think more clearly. Everyone uses thinking in
their daily lives. However, not everyone uses their thinking ability to the fullest. In a result, people make poor decisions and careless mistakes.
Thinking is an ability that constantly improved over the years. There are other reasons why you should study about the thinking process. For example,
college is one of the reasons. In college, you absorb an abundance of information from various authors and must comprehend complex and abstract
ideas. The thinking processes are comprise of applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating the information. You are able to understand the given

"Topic 2" The attacks of September 11th affected the United States powerfully by creating different reactions within the American population. This
event in 2001 was so powerful because it was an unforeseen foreign attack on American soil resulting in the largest loss of life. Nineteen militants
associated with the Islamic extremist group al–Qaeda hijacked four airliners that were loaded with fuel because they were destined for long journeys.
Two of the planes hit the World Trade Center, one plane hit the Pentagon near Washington D.C.; and the fourth plane crashed into a field in
Pennsylvania where it is believed that the passengers and crew overpowered the hijackers and took control of the plane. The two planes that sliced into
the World Trade Center Towers both collapsed to the ground and continued burning for hours. The result was that nearly 3,000 people were killed
during the attacks, including many firemen. The major positive force of 9/11 was that Americans came together during this crisis. Shortly after theattack

type of essay. Another key part of writing this essay is that I learned that I needed to be clear and concise. I wanted to share my interest in the topic
and hold the reader's attention and make them interested as well. Finally, an important part of this writing process was to use figurative language
where appropriate, but to realize a little goes a long

Problem solving is a universal process that allows us to make decisions on everything from what to eat and what to wear. These steps contain the
necessary knowledge that has been constructed through previous life experiences. Without sufficient experience the supports designed to strengthen
our choices are weakened ending in the ultimate failure of the problem. There are many different strategies that good problem solvers use to solve a
problem. The steps of the problem solving process are systematic and organized. First, take your time and identify the problem very carefully. Do the
research, and become informed about your subject. Few good problem solvers solve problems fast. Life choices need to be supported with well

It is without doubt that humans will encounter problems that limit access to a preferred want or need at sometime during their lives and this was no
different in my own life. Researchers D'Zurilla and Goldfried (1971) define a problem as "any life situation or task that demands a response for
adaptive or effective functioning" (415). My life situation in question became deciding between attending school leading to future desired payoffs or
working a menial full–time job that would not. The first step in the problem solving process, allowed me to identify the problem. A situation can be
perceived or thought of as problematic when an individual encounters situations disturbs them or they find that it keeps them from a goal (Bingham,
1999). The problem surfacing in affording an education and paying for everyday necessities became the central focus at that point in my life and
defined the problem that needed an immediate response. The problem solving process can best be defined as the best way to overcome obstacles in
situations and the steps used to help overcome them (Peterson et al., 2002). The second step, sort out information that is not needed provided clarity
during times in which the process seemed overwhelming. This called for a potential solution, a desired outcome and how to get there. The research that
had initially been part of the formulating method had sparked an interest in the military. This idea was supported by the benefits that outweighed

Process Analysis Essay for Writing Papers
Process Analysis Essay
When writing a paper it can be very difficult unless you break it up into sections. When I had to write my first paper I felt like a man on a desert
island all alone without a clue on how to do anything. But with the help of a few teachers they taught me how to survive on the island of writing
papers. What the teachers taught me was that just like everything in life it needs to be taken in steps. The steps they taught me still apply to the papers
I write to this day. The first thing you need when you write a paper is a strong foundation. Everything must start at the bottom and be built up. This
applies to everything. It all starts with an idea. So start your paper with an idea, write them all down and...show more content...

sure to use complete sentences and correct your grammar. There's nothing worse than getting a B when you could've took then extra 5 minutes to
look back though what you've just written. This will also help you with making the paper flow well. Make sure you have a complete thesis with
support. After you are done with the paper take it to someone and have him or her inspect your paper for any mistakes you may have missed. The

of friends or teachers and you should be ready for the final draft. After you fix all the mistakes give it one last look over for mistake that you'll never

The Writing Process Analysis
The writing process is separated into five different stages, prewriting, drafting, editing, revising, and publishing. When going throughout this process I
feel that it is important to check your progress quite frequently. After you complete each stage of the writing process it is always acceptable to
proofread and if need be, edit your work. There are certain questions you may ask yourself as you undergo composing an essay, novel, or legal piece of
work. For example, in the first stage of the writing process, prewriting, you can ask yourself how and what you will be disputing. Also at this point you
can get opinions from various individuals about the topic of your essay. Stage two, drafting, is where your thoughts begin to come together.

Time Management Process Analysis
Two time management procedures that I have developed are creating a daily plan and prioritizing tasks. Creating a daily plan allows me to assign
priority to tasks. This practice ensures that important tasks are completed on time.
I have observed other people use spreadsheets to document tasks. Often, employees use electronic calanders to assist in time management.
There are constantly problems arising from poor time management. Last week, a welder took too many breaks and did not complete his task. Yesterday,
an ironworker did not complete his assignment, because he took an extended lunch.
When my shift begins, I meet with the superintendent and discuss the work taking place. After verifying the accuracy of the information, I create a

Each participant has an agenda, and the need to complete daily tasks ensures meetings are short.
During the morning foreman meeting, I am a participant. I provide information to the superintendent and the foremen regarding work that was
completed during the night shift. During the morning craft meeting, I am a leader and discuss topics relating to the overall work plan.
When managing craft workers, the project superintendent uses an authoritarian leadership style. On the other hand, when managing the foremen, the
superintendent uses a democratic leadership style.
When using an authoritarian leadership style, close adherence to regulations and policies are the fundamentals of this leadership style. Workers are
held to a specific standard, and the relationship is purely professional. In a democratic leadership style, the decision–making ability is shared. The
superintendent relies on feedback from the foremen when making decisions.
During my internship, I have become more confident in my leadership ability. Although I have limited construction experience, I often provide
instruction and

Process Evaluation
A process evaluation is a tool utilized to identify the key components of intervention that are effective and under what conditions. Additionally it also
evaluates the extent to which a program is being implemented as planned. A process evaluation can be broken down into six steps which are depicted
in the diagram below. In order to engage stake holders the process must begin at the evaluation cycle. Stakeholders in regards to our program include
those who are directly involved with program operations. This includes the staff utilized to procure supplies and equipment, those involved in the

Credible evidence is very important in order to ensure stakeholder engagement and to strengthen the evaluation finding and recommendations. Credible
evidence regarding our program will be gathered from key indicators. A key indicator is a specific, observable, and measurable component that
supports the goal or premise of the program. Our key indicators include survey data, service utilization, observations of staff, interviewing the target
population and solicitation of feedback. Specific milestones regarding these indicators are delineated in the program goals and

The Writing Process Analysis
Summary:
This chapter does not only focus on types of assistive technologies that support writing but it also goes into great depths in regards to many different
aspects of writing that, on their own or together, can be frustrating for students. The text outlines 3 different elements of writing and these are the task
environment, long–term memory and the writing process (prewriting, drafting, reviewing, editing and publishing.)
The task environment is essentially the directions or assignment that is given to the student. If the task is not presented in a way so that the students
understand what is expected of them and what is expected in the work, a student my find it so daunting that they feel it is impossible for them to
complete.
Long–term memory is key in writing as students are needed to recall things they have previously been taught. This could be...show more content...
Each stage requires different skills to be used in order to be successful. Students may thrive in one stage but show great difficulty in others. Some
problems that they may encounter include:
Prewriting: Students need begin the planning process of their work and this requires the ability to organize their ideas in a logical manner.
Drafting: Students take what they have planned in the prewriting stage and begin to put them into sentences and paragraph form. Not only does this
stage depend on the prewriting stage but it is also when students begin the physical process of writing. Students who have problems in the actual
handwriting may find this stage intimidating.
Reviewing: This stage essentially is where students read over their drafted work. they then are able to decide if what they have is sufficient or if their
needs to be changes made. This stage requires the students to have a good grasp and understanding of the directions at hand for their assignment, task

Practice Problems on Process Analysis
Operations Management 70371
Practice Problems on Process Analysis: Solutions
1. On a typical weekday in January, 4,200 customers visit the Pittsburgh Wal–Mart. It is estimated that, on average, there are 350 customers in the store.
Assuming that the store is open 14 hours a day, how much time does the average customer spend in the store? Solution:
– Since the average number of customers in the store is 350, I=350.
– 4,200 customers go through the system in a 14 hr. day. Thus, the throughput rate
(R) is 4200 customers/day or 4200/14 = 300 customers/hr.
– Applying Little's Law (I=R*T) the time an average customer spends in the store is: T=I/R = 350/300 = 1.17 hours = 70 minutes

Assume that no car entering the line leaves without service. On average, how long does a car spend in the drive–through line?
Solution:
– Average inventory I = 10 cars.
– Cars attempt to enter the drive through area at a rate of 2 cars/min. However 25% of cars leave when they see a long queue. Thus, cars enter the
drive through at a flow rate R = 75% * 2 cars/min = 1.5 cars/min.
– Average flow time T = I / R = 10 / 1.5 min = 6.67 min.
7. Checking accounts at a local bank carry an average balance of $3,000. The bank turns over its balance six times a year. On average, how many
dollars flow through the bank each month?
Solution:
– Average inventory I = average balance = $3,000
– Inventory Turns = 6 per year.
– Average flow time T = 1 / turns = 1/6 year = 2 months.
– Throughput R = I / T = 3,000 / 2 = $1,500 /

Process Analysis Audience

  • 1. Process Analysis Audience Process of Analysis First in my process, I selected I need to figure out my audience demographics. Our school has a business school, a cosmetology school, a culinary school, and a medical school. With that said, I believe my audience to be those who want to attend college. More specifically, male and femalehigh school seniors, non–working and working married and single men and women. These men and are also do not have a lot of money and want to finish in a faster period of time than the norm. They want to be able to graduate and get a job as soon as possible and waste no time. Second in my process, I had to assess what I need to know about my audience, I learned that I needed to know a bit more about the above males and females. For example,...show more content... Because of our business and culinary programs my audience also consists of married and single men and fathers, but there are definitely more women here at the college. Cindy, from her peer feedback, helped me clarify that I do want potential students to be the main focus of my audience. Cindy (2015) Second, I found that these men and women do use social media, mostly Facebook. However, Latrice also suggests in her peer feedback that many like her do blog and live chat. Latrice (2015) Third, I found during the analysis that if my college spent more money and time on social media instead of the traditional methods they use, this would drastically change things for the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Free Writing Process When it comes to writing a paper, we all have been there when we are struggling to keep the flow of your paper going towards the subject of your paper. Here, are some ways I can help you along. Well, number one is the outline to have a good outline is to have a good paper. Next, is freewriting being able to free write is one of the best ways to get started. After freewriting, comes the thesis statement which is the sentence or two that brings the reader in and explains the focus of the paper to its entirety. Finally, is the vocabulary, which is the single most important part ofwriting paper because it deals with being able to find that right word and to know the definition of that word and every other word in the paper. When it comes to outlining the best thing to do is to create an outline, no matter how bad you are at it. A small outline is better than no outline, when it comes to creating an outline, picture it as a skeleton that all your ideas hang from, such as the arm is your thesis and the conclusion is the head, limbs can be taken away to help your writing needs. Very helpful information because an outline can be very difficult to attempt when you don't have these tools. What I have learned from the freewriting article that was given to me, there was a great idea to start your essay before you try writing, don't...show more content... Make sure to keep the word, definition, and a sentence using that word and study those words you have chosen. Soon you will feel comfortable with these words and know how to use them in everyday life when the right moment occurs. Lastly, when it comes to vocabulary know the roots are a great way to break down a word and where it comes from. Because over half of the English language derives from the Greek or Latin Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Writing Process Summary And Analysis I have learned that it isn't as black and white as I once thought to write an essay. I was taught like I am sure most every other student was that there are certain rule to writing and you have to follow those rules no matter what. Not only were we told that but then we were grades and criticized or it. We have learned by example that we are wrong if we go a little bit outside the box when writing for a teacher. The articles I read today have made me feel a whole lot better about myself and my writing because it gives me more of a range to explore my abilities. Writing is a form of art to me and unfortunately it is hard to be told exactly what you have to write. Knowing that there are possibilities out there of learning as well as being creative Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Assignment: A Process Analysis This Assignment is a process commentary and self–reflection of an interview that was done by using the flinders chronic conditions self–management (FCCSM) tools. There will be a brief description included to allow for a background of the volunteer who was interviewed. The volunteer that was interviewed was female in her 20s. She has recently been diagnosed with Diabetes type 2, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and acquired polycystic ovaries syndrome after having her son. As the volunteer had never completed the flinders program before I made sure that I explained it to her, consent was then given. The interview was conducted in the living room of the volunteer's home to make the interview as comfortable as possible for her. The volunteer started...show more content... I do think that some of these questions did seem to be a little recurrent but due to this repetitiveness it allowed the volunteer to open up a little more which provided more information. For the majority of the questions I was giving the volunteer 5's which I believe to suitable scoring due to that she has just been diagnosed and for 5's would indicate that she is doing all that she can to self–manage her chronic conditions. After completing the C&R part we discussed the scoring and why we gave them scores and we both agreed that a 5 is where she is best at right now. I believe that the C&R section did take a long time to complete this time as it was of a volunteer who was just diagnosed with her chronic conditions whereas the last time I completed it the volunteer was a self–manager and he had used the tool before. During the problems and goals (P&G) assessment the volunteers knew exactly what her problems were and what she wanted to do in order fix the problem. She said that she would like to see the diabetes educator so that she could have control of her blood sugars so that she would be able to feel healthy again. She saw that her main problem that that due to having pain from her arthritis that wasn't able to go out on the weekends to do things with her son like she usually did every weekend before her Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Process Analysis: How to build a computer Essay How to Build a Computer from scratch Every fully functioning computer is made of the same basic components and here I'll walk through the basic hardware you'll need for your first build. There are several components a computer. However, it's important to first understand what each component does. The processor (CPU) is like the brain of a computer, the thing that carries out the tasks you give it. Better CPUs can perform more tasks at once, and perform them faster. Not everyone takes full advantage of their processor's full speed, so the high–end processers are only really needed if you're performing intensive things like gaming or video editing. It's also one of the most expensive parts of a computer, so if you aren't doing these...show more content... Your hard drives are what store all of your data, ranging from your operating system to your documents, music, and movies. If the RAM is your computer's short–term memory, your hard drive is the long–term memory. It stores the things you want to keep around for a while. An optical drive, more commonly known as a CD or DVD drive is what you'll use to read CDs, DVDs, and even Blu–Ray discs. Not everyone needs an optical drive in his/her computer, but you'll need one to install anything from a disc. The final major component you'll need is the power supply. This does just as the name implies, it powers the computer. Depending on what you plan on using the computer for will determine the "size" of power supply you'll need. Just as I said with picking the case, wait to pick this out until you figure out how much power you'll need. Now that I've told you about all the components that make up a computer it's time to start deciding which to use. While deciding make sure you read everything because you'll need to make sure everything is compatible. Now that you've bought all your components, it's time for the moment of truth: You're ready to actually put together the machine. Assembling your computer can seem daunting, but it's actually pretty easy. Here's what you need to do. To start, open up your case's box, take out the case, and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Process Analysis: Anguage Arts anguage Arts is the skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening, and viewing. For myself, I find that sometimes I am unsure on how to say a word in the correct way. Because of this, I feel language arts is very important in my field of work. I need all of these skills because I want to make sure that both patients and doctors understand me clearly. I don't want to be a cause for misunderstanding in getting a word or words mixed up. RE: Language Arts 7/31/2015 4:29:45 PM Erica, One of my biggest problems is with wording itself. I always seem to get my words mixed up, and I feel like because of that I cause confusion to others. Language arts is definitely important and I know it will help me get better with my word choice and usage. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Process Analysis Essay: The Writing Process Throughout the writing process for my process analysis essay, I completed many steps. The first thing I did was decide what process I wanted to write about. I chose cake pops because they are my favorite dessert. After that I began to prewrite which includes the purpose, tone, audience, and thesis statement. Following, I started planning. I wrote down all of the ingredients as well as the procedure in chronological order. Creating an outline worked exceptionally well for me. It helped me form a guide to know what I would be writing about versus just winging it. Writing out all of the ingredients and instructions ahead of time acted as a checklist for me to make sure I would not miss anything important within my essay. • 8. Process Analysis Reflection Teachers in high school were constantly trying to tell you how to write their way and perfect what they thought was good writing. Little did I know everyone's writing style is good in its own way. This academic writing class proved to me that no writing style is right or wrong, but instead all writing styles have their own uniqueness and character to them. After reading the assigned articles and analyzing the writing process and other topics discussed in this class, I now see writing as an extraordinary process that is different for everyone. After writing papers and getting feedback, I saw where my writing lacked solid evidence in my rhetorical analysis paper, and I also found certain ways I can write more efficiently in my process...show more content... What helped me analyze this was Carol Berkenkotter and Donald Murray's analysis of the writing process. Donald Murray was analyzed for two months in his everyday life and they analyzed how the environment he was in when writing affected his writing outcomes. The importance of the audience when editing was highlighted in one of the final paragraphs and I did not realize the importance of the audience really until I looked back and thought about my writing. Even going back to junior high writing, your audience was the teacher, and your goal was to write to the teacher's specifications. Writing is more than just sitting down and writing a dull essay. Even if it is not the first thought in your head you still have to know your affordances, constraints, and audience in order to write effectively and edit to the best of your ability. Going into this course I was afraid my writing style would not be good enough, or up to par with the writing style of a professor for a college writing class. The first paper I composed this semester was a rhetorical analysis paper in which I analyzed the rhetor, the audience, the exigence, affordances, and constraints. If you would have asked me what most of those terms meant last year at this time I would have given you a blank stare. After reading the articles from Keith Grant–Davie, Christina Haas and Linda Flower, and Laura Carroll, my eyes were opened to what rhetorical Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Rough Draft Process Analysis When beginning to write an essay everyone has their own method of doing so. Some may like to brainstorm while others may prefer to go straight into writing about their topic. I personally beginning every essay by collecting ideas about my topic before coordinating them into a type of diagram, next I proceed to do my rough draft before revising over the paper and finally composing my final draft. The point of the writing process is to help break everything down so ideas can be organized and everything can make perfect sense for not just the writer but also the reader. Writing an essay can be difficult if a person does not know how or where to begin. I personally believe the first step of writing is to list down ideas about the topic. After...show more content... Proofreading and revising is a very crucial step in the writing process. If a person does not proofread then the essay they worked on may not make sense and may overall confuse the reader. Using correct punctuation shows how sentences are supposed to be read. Once I have made sure all my sentences are grammatically correct I then compose my final copy of the essay. Writing can be difficult if not done correctly. That is why there is a writing process to follow. Using some type of way to group ideas together help coordinate how the essay will go. Then once the ideas are put together the rough draft can be formed and edited. After everything has been writing accordantly the essay can then be turned in. Some may think the writing process is just some more additional steps to getting their essay done but overall it makes the writing experience easier and more Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Group Analysis: Group Process Issues Group Process Issues Trust may be a major issue during the group process. Since the members are female middle school students, the likelihood of them previously being betrayed by a trusted friend is great. It may be difficult for members to trust each other when disclosing personal information. Another issue that may arise is shame. The girls may not fully self–disclose because they are ashamed about the negative self–concept they have of themselves. It also may be difficult to say these negative thoughts about themselves out loud to other people. Hopefully, the fact that they all have some perception of themselves will aid in enabling them to self–disclose with confidence. Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Everyone uses thinking in their daily lives. However, not everyone uses their thinking ability to the fullest. In a result, people make poor decisions and careless mistakes. Thinking is an ability that constantly improved over the years. There are other reasons why you should study about the thinking process. For example, college is one of the reasons. In college, you absorb an abundance of information from various authors and must comprehend complex and abstract ideas. The thinking processes are comprise of applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating the information. You are able to understand the given information Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Examples Of Process Analysis Essay "Process Analysis Essay" "Topic 2" The attacks of September 11th affected the United States powerfully by creating different reactions within the American population. This event in 2001 was so powerful because it was an unforeseen foreign attack on American soil resulting in the largest loss of life. Nineteen militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al–Qaeda hijacked four airliners that were loaded with fuel because they were destined for long journeys. Two of the planes hit the World Trade Center, one plane hit the Pentagon near Washington D.C.; and the fourth plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania where it is believed that the passengers and crew overpowered the hijackers and took control of the plane. The two planes that sliced into the World Trade Center Towers both collapsed to the ground and continued burning for hours. The result was that nearly 3,000 people were killed during the attacks, including many firemen. The major positive force of 9/11 was that Americans came together during this crisis. The Figurative Language Essay and Process allows the reader to understand what really happened and paint an image in their mind as the event is described. It was a challenge to include metaphors and similes, but I understand how effective they can be when reading this type of essay. Another key part of writing this essay is that I learned that I needed to be clear and concise. I wanted to share my interest in the topic and hold the reader's attention and make them interested as well. Finally, an important part of this writing process was to use figurative language where appropriate, but to realize a little goes a long Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Problem solving is a universal process that allows us to make decisions on everything from what to eat and what to wear. These steps contain the necessary knowledge that has been constructed through previous life experiences. Without sufficient experience the supports designed to strengthen our choices are weakened ending in the ultimate failure of the problem. There are many different strategies that good problem solvers use to solve a problem. The steps of the problem solving process are systematic and organized. First, take your time and identify the problem very carefully. Do the research, and become informed about your subject. Few good problem solvers solve problems fast. Life choices need to be supported with well thought–out...show more content... It is without doubt that humans will encounter problems that limit access to a preferred want or need at sometime during their lives and this was no different in my own life. Researchers D'Zurilla and Goldfried (1971) define a problem as "any life situation or task that demands a response for adaptive or effective functioning" (415). My life situation in question became deciding between attending school leading to future desired payoffs or working a menial full–time job that would not. The first step in the problem solving process, allowed me to identify the problem. A situation can be perceived or thought of as problematic when an individual encounters situations disturbs them or they find that it keeps them from a goal (Bingham, 1999). The problem surfacing in affording an education and paying for everyday necessities became the central focus at that point in my life and defined the problem that needed an immediate response. The problem solving process can best be defined as the best way to overcome obstacles in situations and the steps used to help overcome them (Peterson et al., 2002). The second step, sort out information that is not needed provided clarity during times in which the process seemed overwhelming. This called for a potential solution, a desired outcome and how to get there. The research that had initially been part of the formulating method had sparked an interest in the military. This idea was supported by the benefits that outweighed Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Process Analysis Essay for Writing Papers Process Analysis Essay When writing a paper it can be very difficult unless you break it up into sections. When I had to write my first paper I felt like a man on a desert island all alone without a clue on how to do anything. But with the help of a few teachers they taught me how to survive on the island of writing papers. What the teachers taught me was that just like everything in life it needs to be taken in steps. The steps they taught me still apply to the papers I write to this day. The first thing you need when you write a paper is a strong foundation. Everything must start at the bottom and be built up. This applies to everything. It all starts with an idea. So start your paper with an idea, write them all down and...show more content... This helps you organize and structure the paper. • 15. The Writing Process Analysis The writing process is separated into five different stages, prewriting, drafting, editing, revising, and publishing. When going throughout this process I feel that it is important to check your progress quite frequently. After you complete each stage of the writing process it is always acceptable to proofread and if need be, edit your work. There are certain questions you may ask yourself as you undergo composing an essay, novel, or legal piece of work. For example, in the first stage of the writing process, prewriting, you can ask yourself how and what you will be disputing. Also at this point you can get opinions from various individuals about the topic of your essay. Stage two, drafting, is where your thoughts begin to come together. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Time Management Process Analysis Two time management procedures that I have developed are creating a daily plan and prioritizing tasks. Creating a daily plan allows me to assign priority to tasks. This practice ensures that important tasks are completed on time. I have observed other people use spreadsheets to document tasks. Often, employees use electronic calanders to assist in time management. There are constantly problems arising from poor time management. Last week, a welder took too many breaks and did not complete his task. Yesterday, an ironworker did not complete his assignment, because he took an extended lunch. When my shift begins, I meet with the superintendent and discuss the work taking place. After verifying the accuracy of the information, I create a spreadsheet...show more content... Each participant has an agenda, and the need to complete daily tasks ensures meetings are short. During the morning foreman meeting, I am a participant. I provide information to the superintendent and the foremen regarding work that was completed during the night shift. During the morning craft meeting, I am a leader and discuss topics relating to the overall work plan. When managing craft workers, the project superintendent uses an authoritarian leadership style. On the other hand, when managing the foremen, the superintendent uses a democratic leadership style. When using an authoritarian leadership style, close adherence to regulations and policies are the fundamentals of this leadership style. Workers are held to a specific standard, and the relationship is purely professional. In a democratic leadership style, the decision–making ability is shared. The superintendent relies on feedback from the foremen when making decisions. During my internship, I have become more confident in my leadership ability. Although I have limited construction experience, I often provide instruction and

  • 18. Process Evaluation A process evaluation is a tool utilized to identify the key components of intervention that are effective and under what conditions. Additionally it also evaluates the extent to which a program is being implemented as planned. A process evaluation can be broken down into six steps which are depicted in the diagram below. In order to engage stake holders the process must begin at the evaluation cycle. Stakeholders in regards to our program include those who are directly involved with program operations. This includes the staff utilized to procure supplies and equipment, those involved in the delivery of supplies equipment, those who distribute educational materials, those that perform diabetic testing and those that interact with the target ...show more content... Credible evidence is very important in order to ensure stakeholder engagement and to strengthen the evaluation finding and recommendations. Credible evidence regarding our program will be gathered from key indicators. A key indicator is a specific, observable, and measurable component that supports the goal or premise of the program. Our key indicators include survey data, service utilization, observations of staff, interviewing the target population and solicitation of feedback. Specific milestones regarding these indicators are delineated in the program goals and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. The Writing Process Analysis Summary: This chapter does not only focus on types of assistive technologies that support writing but it also goes into great depths in regards to many different aspects of writing that, on their own or together, can be frustrating for students. The text outlines 3 different elements of writing and these are the task environment, long–term memory and the writing process (prewriting, drafting, reviewing, editing and publishing.) The task environment is essentially the directions or assignment that is given to the student. If the task is not presented in a way so that the students understand what is expected of them and what is expected in the work, a student my find it so daunting that they feel it is impossible for them to complete. Long–term memory is key in writing as students are needed to recall things they have previously been taught. This could be...show more content... Each stage requires different skills to be used in order to be successful. Students may thrive in one stage but show great difficulty in others. Some problems that they may encounter include: Prewriting: Students need begin the planning process of their work and this requires the ability to organize their ideas in a logical manner. Drafting: Students take what they have planned in the prewriting stage and begin to put them into sentences and paragraph form. Not only does this stage depend on the prewriting stage but it is also when students begin the physical process of writing. Students who have problems in the actual handwriting may find this stage intimidating. Reviewing: This stage essentially is where students read over their drafted work. they then are able to decide if what they have is sufficient or if their needs to be changes made. This stage requires the students to have a good grasp and understanding of the directions at hand for their assignment, task Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 20. Practice Problems on Process Analysis Operations Management 70371 Practice Problems on Process Analysis: Solutions 1. On a typical weekday in January, 4,200 customers visit the Pittsburgh Wal–Mart. It is estimated that, on average, there are 350 customers in the store. Assuming that the store is open 14 hours a day, how much time does the average customer spend in the store? Solution: – Since the average number of customers in the store is 350, I=350. – 4,200 customers go through the system in a 14 hr. day. Thus, the throughput rate (R) is 4200 customers/day or 4200/14 = 300 customers/hr. – Applying Little's Law (I=R*T) the time an average customer spends in the store is: T=I/R = 350/300 = 1.17 hours = 70 minutes 2. In 2006, Shouldice Hospital admitted 14,965 patients. In...show more content... Assume that no car entering the line leaves without service. On average, how long does a car spend in the drive–through line? Solution: – Average inventory I = 10 cars. – Cars attempt to enter the drive through area at a rate of 2 cars/min. However 25% of cars leave when they see a long queue. Thus, cars enter the drive through at a flow rate R = 75% * 2 cars/min = 1.5 cars/min. – Average flow time T = I / R = 10 / 1.5 min = 6.67 min. 7. Checking accounts at a local bank carry an average balance of $3,000. The bank turns over its balance six times a year. On average, how many dollars flow through the bank each month? Solution: – Average inventory I = average balance = $3,000 – Inventory Turns = 6 per year. – Average flow time T = 1 / turns = 1/6 year = 2 months. – Throughput R = I / T = 3,000 / 2 = $1,500 /
