The filmmakers faced several problems while filming including heavy snow and rain that delayed outdoor filming for over a week and damaged equipment. Some actors had scheduling conflicts that prevented them from attending certain shoot days. To work around these issues, the filmmakers rescheduled shoots for days when all actors were available and prioritized indoor filming when weather prevented outdoor shoots, while also ensuring actor safety.
1. Problems we came across whilst filming.
Whilst filming we came across a variety of different problems whilst filming. We had to some how come to the decision and work around the problems we faced.
Whilst filming the scenes outside, we had the problem of heavy snow and rain. The weather problem affected our schedule of filming as we were aware that the rain and weather could damage the filming equipment as well as affect the set and for the simple reason of Health and Safety. So we had to wait for over a week for the weather to clear up and wait for it to be suitable to film the scene. When we were faced with this problem my partner and I can to the decision not to waste our time and get the filming done which was set to be filmed inside.
Another problem we faced was the simple fact that some of the actors we decided on to play the roles were unable to attend certain days due to their busy schedule. My partner and I decided that it would be best if we picked certain days that we know that all of our actors would be free, and we would then try and get as much filming done within that day the actors are free.
Finally Katherine and I had to also consider the small fact of Health and Safety, we had to always consider our actors safety as we don’t want to be responsible of any injuries that may have occurred whilst filming.
