IMPORTANCE OF AGRICULTURE IN
PAKISTAN
Agricultural sectors is the backbone of Pakistan’s
economy. Most of the people are under the impression
that agriculture has nothing to do with the economic
development. Its wrong to assure that agriculture is
not a part of the development activity of a country.
Infect it is very much part of it. About 66% of
Pakistan’s population is living in the rural areas.
The agricultural sector of Pakistan provides
employment to a large number of people. Agricultural
sector contributes 24% in GDP.
