2. 1.What problems has he had to face? William does not have a mother – she died he was only 15 years old. Everything he does it followed and photographed – so he has to be sensible all the time. He could be kidnapped at any time. His job could kill him – he fights in the wars for England. He has little choices in his life he has to do it. He has lots of extra work on top of his job – such as charity work as part of being a Prince. Goes to openings, be on boards for meetings (Counsellor of State and goes to Heads Of Government meeting) Charity work – a lot for a homeless charity and Aids charities. He helped pack boxes to go to people who were affected by the Tsunami in 2004 and he also does Mountain Rescue work.

5. 3.Why did he go into the forces? The Prince loves to fly. His Father, Uncle, Grandfathers and Great Grandfathers all were in the forces and some of them did fight. (One in World War one) William has said he wants to be in active service but he has not been allowed to fight. So , it is in his family and a job he would like to do – but hey his main job is Prince and then King!
6. 4.Did he ever go into battle? Prince William doesn't go into battle on the fronts. He has trained and he knows and goes by air instead of running on the ground he does dog fights (fighting a enemy plane). He has trained in the Army/Navy and Air Force but has not been in direct battle because of who is. His regiment was sent to Afghanistan but for security reasons he was not allowed to go however his brother went but it was all kept quiet. When the press found out he was withdrawn and sent back home! When he was in the navy he did go on a mission to catch some people who were drug dealers. He did it but it was in secret and he was on the HMS Iron Duke a submarine
7. 5. When did his mum die and why was she famous? His Mum – Diana Princess of Wales died on 31st August 1997 in a car crash in Paris. William was only 15 years old. She died in a car crash that killed her the police suspected the driver was drunk. She was married to Charles and he is next in line to the Throne. She was what was known as The Peoples Princess because everybody loved her she was the most photographed person in the world and did a lot of good for charities and loved her family.
8. 6.Is it fun being a Prince ? He has lots of money because he is part of one of the wealthiest families in the world so he can basically do what he wants he can buy what he wants He can go where he wants He can do what he wants when he wants to Everything he does is monitored He has a guard all the time he is never alone (he could be kidnapped he is from a very powerful family who not everybody likes His life is in danger all the time) Everything he does is watched by – the Palace, the Country, the newspapers – there is always a photographer around. Or can he ?
9. His job is set – he is Prince he is going to be King he does not get a choice. But He still lives a good life where he can have a lot more than most ordinary people and travel to all the countries we would like to see. He lives and drives and holiday’s in luxury that we could only dream of. He plays all the sports he wants and does a job a lot of people would dream of – a Pilot! So I think yes it would be fun to be Prince !
10. 7.What jobs does he do? He was commissioned as Lieutenant in the military and he trained at the Royal Militarily Academy in Sandhurst in England. Two years later he finished his training as a Pilot at the Royal Air Force as a Flight Lieutenant . H e is training as a search and rescue Helicopter Pilot. His brother followed his foot steps but in a different role. He has been in Air Force and the Navy and Army If he finishes this training he will fly one of the 6 helicopters to be search and rescue. He also does work for charities and he has Royal Duties to do.
11. 8. What interests does he have? His interests are polo – he plays for fun and professionally (and for charity) Soccer – He likes Aston Villa an EnglishTeam water polo, motorsport, hunting Skiing, rafting, swimming Painting – he is quite good at it! Flying
12. Why do I admire him ? I admire him because he has been through a lot with his mum dying and paparazzi always on his tail. He has still managed to struggle through. He has always helped out his dad and brother even when he doesn't have to and he always has a lot of pressure on his shoulders . He always tries and pitch in every so often and also helps the world/country and community. He is a Member of the Royal Family who is also a normal person who does not try to show off!
