Coordinated HSE Activities for up to five (5) Drilling Rigs located in TX, LA, and MS
for Denbury Resources. Laid off due to a reduction in drilling activity.
 Rolled out Hazard ID program from Denbury to all drilling operations.
 Incident investigations inclusive of Root Cause Analysis that were followed to
completion.
 Conducted comprehensive rig audits weekly for all rigs operating in TX. LA. and
MS. And reported findings to Drilling Operations and Denbury HSE.
 Participated in field investigations that encompassed not only drilling contractor
activities, but all contractors in the fields of operation. Inclusive of work-over and
production activities.
 Reviewed and audited weekly all contractors on each drilling location, inclusive
of Class I-IV inspections on each rig.
 Conducted stand down HSE meetings as needed.
 Having the ability to work one on one with the contractors and teaching them to
work within IADC and API standards in a fast paced drilling program (RU/RD
and move avg. 8 days) the reduction in incidents and recordable injuries was

largest U.S. based land drilling contractor. Company bought by Nabors Drilling, laid off.
 Recruited, hired, trained and supervised activities of five (5) District Safety
Coordinators.

 Developed managed and maintained the safety manual for the Company.
 Conducted basic HSE training for all Tool pushers who in turn conducted
documented training for all field personnel.
 Maintained training data base inclusive of all required well control training for
field employees.

Drilling industry at the time.

DUKE ENERGY Ozona, Texas EHS Coordinator III July 2001 to December 2003 Managed all aspects of the safety, environmental and regulatory compliance for a mid- stream gas gathering and processing asset. Inclusive of three (3) PSM regulated gas processing plants, eighty five (85) miles of DOT regulated pipeline, and over two thousand (2,000) miles of gathering pipeline.  Completed onsite field and plant audits and evaluations as related to OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations.  Served as single point contact for regulatory agencies, to include OSHA, EPA and DOT on the federal level and various state and local regulatory agencies. Oversee remediation of all spills.  Maintained and conducted annual audits of primary contractors inclusive of construction, machining, welding, transportation and general labor.  Completed many plant turn-a-rounds with no incidents or regulatory issues of any kind. TORCH OPERATING COMPANY Houston, Texas Senior Safety Coordinator September 1992 to July 2001 Managed all aspects of the safety and regulatory compliance for an E&P asset management company. Owner sold Company forcing a lay off.  Interfaced directly with production, drilling, mid-stream processing and construction departments to develop regulatory needs. Inclusive of compliance manuals, training, inspection, emergency response and incident investigation.

Company bought by Nabors Drilling, laid off.  Recruited, hired, trained and supervised activities of five (5) District Safety Coordinators.  Maintained an incident database for statistical and trend analysis.  Developed managed and maintained the safety manual for the Company.  Conducted basic HSE training for all Tool pushers who in turn conducted documented training for all field personnel.  Maintained training data base inclusive of all required well control training for field employees.  Help develop guidelines for new and developing Environmental laws for the Drilling industry at the time.
