society by their skillfulness and professionalism in the fields of
commerce, business and administration;

In this place, everyday activities are
performed by both students thirsty for knowledge
and teachers willing to pass their life experience to
generations on end.

present there are 921 students in high school, day institution, 252 students of vocational school, all occupying 54 classrooms.

6. Historical background
15.10.1927 -“The Superior School of Commerce” commences activity in he
establishment of the school “Notre Dame de Sion”;
1936 -“The Superior School of Commerce for male learners” turns into “The
Commercial High school for male learners” having its headquarters on no.8
“Ep.Ciorogaru” Street;
1937 -The Public I. Ministry consents to giving the “Commercial High
School for boys” the name “Partenie Cosma” Commercial High school,
which will function until 1940.
1945 -Under the leadership of the professor Iosif Silaghi Salageanu, the”
Commercial High School” is reestablished along with the “Commercial
Vocational School”.
1948 -The high school functions with the name “Economic Administration
Technical School” until the year 1954 when it is closed down.
1966-the school is reestablished with the name the “Economic High school”
under the leadership of the teacher Gheorghe Tent, located on Nr.66 Clujului
street.
1972-1975 -The school functions with the name of “Commercial School
Network” when the “Commercial Vocational School” is reestablished
09.1983 -The school changes its location in the current headquarters on nr.5
Orsovei Street, bearing the name “Partenie Cosma Economic School
Network”
13.11.2001 -by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Research
(OMEC), art.5024,it was approved that starting the school year 2001-2002
the School Network should bear the name “Partenie Cosma Economic
College”.
