• Are product is an acoustic Solution Speaker Doc made in a
contemporary wooden format. The reason why we chose to use
this product is because it not only plays music but also has
beneficial features which could be used as its unique selling points
such as
• 2 x 20 watt speakers to deliver superb sound quality and provides
an Aux in jack to listen to your other audio devices.
• Compatible with iPod and iPhone.
• This device uses the Apple Lightning Connector which is compatible
with 5th Generation Apple devices and onwards. If you do not have
a 5th Generation device or newer, you will need an adaptor (sold
separately).

3. Product history
• The acoustic solution speaker doc originated from what
we would know as a loud speaker. A loud speaker
generally means to reinforce the sound through the
use of speakers. The first every electrical loud speakers
was created by Johnna Philp Reis in 1861. although it
was a loud speaker and enhanced sounds it was not
portable de to its size. Edgar Villchur developed the
first portable loud speaker in 1954. Wireless speakers
are very similar to the traditional wired loud speaker,
but the only difference is wireless speakers receive
audio signals using radio frequency rather than audio
cables.

• We as a group have come to the conclusion that
the target audience for this product is aimed
mostly at teenagers to people I their late 20s. We
believe this because it has beneficial features i.e.
it charges your phone whilst playing, which is
really useful for the younger generation today
because you can enjoy your music with out
having to worry about your phone dying. Also it is
mostly compatible with iPhones and iPods, which
is also very beneficial seeing as the population of
teenagers and young adults who are now using
apple products has increased.

• The top two companies which promote
wireless speakers are Bose and Sony. Both
company’s take the similar approach in having
a scenario where people are playing music in
an activity they are doing but the sound isn't
loud enough for them to hear. They use the
wireless speaker they are promoting to show
the enhancement of the sound and the effect
it is having on the costumer.

• The main competitors this speaker faces is the
Bose sound dock series 111 digital music
system which is £199.95. The Sony premium
wireless speaker doc which is £240 and the
Philips docking speaker which is £75. All in
which display good sound quality, a
chargeable port and allow iPhones and iPods
to be used.

8. Pitching our idea
• Our initial idea is to create an advert where we not
only promote the speaker with its excellent sound
quality but also show the evolution of audio sound
technology and give the message that its never to late
to enjoy music. The scene will be set in a park where
there will be two sides, one in which is colored and the
other is black and white to show the different time
period. The same music will be playing but one will be
a more modernized quality. The message we are trying
to convey is that regardless of the time period its never
to late to have fun and listen to music with the
Acoustic solution speaker doc.
