Comparing the timeline from the preliminary task to the final
piece, there is an enormous difference. Especially, as the
preliminary timeline only had two distinct timelines; whereas the
final piece has layers upon layers including sound, text and
effects. Therefore demonstrates how much as a group we have
learnt, about the importance of each element. Thus we have
definitely broadened our knowledge on how to use final cut pro
and the different tools, which are available.
Unlike editing the preliminary task, when it came to editing this
task we had to take into consideration the continuity effect and
make sure everything flowed effectively. Therefore we had
experiment with different effects and use the pen tool to try make
the transitions from each shot as smooth as possible. Also in
between two shots we wanted to integrated them both so the
audience we’re able to view the shots at the same time.
