7. The Debate is a match-ups between teams which consist of 3 people each. The team will give their arguments about a “motion” (given motion being discussed). They will take sides on the motion, having a different point of view of the case. The purposes of this activities are to develop public speaking skills, to widen knowledge and to sharpen mind, logic, and critical thinking of the students.
8. SCRABBLE is a board game with a nature similar to a crossword puzzle. It is a word game that is played by forming interlocking words out of randomly picked letters, on the playing board and aim for the highest score possible. Each letter is worth various different values. The purpose of this activities is not only to test and increase the participants’ vocabulary, but also to challenge participants to take the best advantage of letter values and premium squares on the board. Therefore this SCRABBLE is just the right place to combine your vocabulary skills and your strategies because EVERY WORD COUNTS!
9. Story Telling is an activities where the participants show their creativity in visualizing any stories to audiences in attractive and unique ways within a predetermined time. Originality, creativity, and attractiveness of the delivery of the stories are the main focus in this competition. Indisputably, this is one of the best ways to develop public speaking skills and creativity, as well as to widen knowledge and critical thinking of the students.
