The occupations I do are all in order to take care of Ashton and become
the best Mum possible for my son. Being a Mum is my identity and all
the occupations involved are what it takes to be a mum and provide for
your child.
Ever since I can remember I have been camping. I feel it has shaped the
person I am today and taught me many life skills. I have now started to
take Ashton their to pass on the no electricity, sitting by a camp fire,
sleeping in a tent experience!
I am very close to
my sister and we do
a lot together. Our
favourite thing to do
together is chilling
out watching a
movie with. She is
also an amazing
Aunty to Ashton and
helps look after him
when I’m busy with
assignments which
helps me in the
process of becoming
an OT
This is a great passion of mine and I love to decorate cakes especially
for Ashton’s birthday. I feel proud to provide Ashton with a creative
cake for his birthday that I myself have produced.
I did Taekwon-do for 14
years with my whole
family. This occupation
helped shaped my
values, beliefs, determin
ation and drive for
success in life. It also
made a strong bond
within my family.
This photo is the
before photo at my
sisters hens party I
organised. I have also
organised a team for 2
Relay for Life’s, and 2
concerts that raised
money to go the
Hospice and to the
cancer society. I love
to organise events and
it provides me with
great satisfaction at
the end of it!
Being a student and studying is what I am doing in order
to become an Occupational Therapist.
Every Saturday I
take Ashton to his
swimming lessons.
I never learnt to
swim when I was
younger due to ear
troubles so I was
determined to
make sure Ashton
becomes a great
swimmer.
I have just started
back at playing
netball. I use to play
when I was at high
school and for a work
team after high
school. I play for the
social side and also
fitness. I have always
valued fitness and
like to be fit and
healthy.

My family and I value
birthdays and
Christmas’s. We feel it
is a nice time to
appreciate each other
by giving presents and
spending time with
each other. I love
celebrating these
events especially now
with Ashton. He gives it
extra meaning,
purpose and
happiness.
