Occupational
Identity

Travelling:
Since I was little I have always travelled this occupation
enables me to see my family, see different countries and their
cultures. Occupations include: airports, waiting in lines,
visiting local shops, learning about new cultures.
Netball:
Since I was 7 I have always been apart of a netball team and I
will continue to play netball as long as I can. Occupations
include: training, tournaments, fitness, team work, socialising.
Family:
My family is very important to me I love spending time with
them whenever I can. Occupations include: Family trips,
keeping in touch, driving my younger sisters around, house
work.
Baking:
I started baking when I was little a I would help my Mom and Nan
bake. I love baking and I will always continue to bake. Occupations
include: reading recipes, relaxation, trying new things, spending
time with family and friends. s
The Farm:
I have lived on a farm my whole life and it is home to me. It was
a big part of my identity as I was growing up and I would like to
live on a farm when I am older as well. Occupations include:
milking, feeding calves, doing fences, feeding out.
The Mountain:
The mountain is home for me and has memories of spending time
with family and friends. Occupations include: family picnics, training,
adventures, over night trips.
Basketball:
I have been playing basketball since I was little .I am very passionate
about playing basketball and will continue to play as long as I can.
Occupations include team work, fitness, tournaments, learning new
things, socialising.
Student:
This has recently become an important occupation as becoming a
qualified Occupational therapist is my goal and studying will get me
there. Occupations include: organisation, study, fieldwork,
socialising, classes, assessments.
Outdoor Adventures Racing:
This was a big part of my identity for 3 years at high school, it was
important as I was representing my school and also my region.
Occupations include: Physical and mental strength, endurance, team
work, challenges, tramping, tenting.
Friends:
Friendship is an important part of my identity I have always
enjoyed spending time with my friends and being there for them .
Occupations include: going out for lunch/dinner, keeping in touch,
special events, shopping.
