Leila discusses her occupational identity and satisfaction. She participates in several leisure activities including Korean fan dancing, playing guitar, socializing with friends, playing badminton, attending church, and online shopping. She is also involved with a Christian campus group called Studentlife and enjoys cooking Korean dishes with her mother. Her goal is to become an occupational therapist.

2. Korean Fan Dance
Leisure activity- I was part of the Korean Fan dance group in
my high school for around 3 years. I did this cultural dance as
an extra-curricular activity in school. There were around 7- 9
of us depending on the year. This picture is us forming a
flower using our fans.

3. Studentlife
Self care + leisure. Since my first year of living in Dunedin I have
been part of a christian campus group called Studentlife.
Studentlife has made my faith in god stronger. This image was
taken in Nelson where I went last summer for my short term
missonary trip in where I meet amazing christians from all over
New Zealand.

4. Cooking
Self care + Leisure. I enjoy cooking with my mum. We make
a lot of different dishes where most of the dishes are Korean.
However there are also some Italian dishes. The dish above
is called Ddokibboki and it is a Korean dish in which is spicy.

5. Guitar
Leisure. I enjoy
playing the guitar. I
have only started
learning to play the
guitar couple of
months ago . Its
tricky but is really
fun to play.
Hopefully over time
I will get better at
playing the guitar.

6. Socializing
Leisure. During my free
time I like to social and
hang out with my

7. Badminton Leisure. I have
participated in playing
Badminton since I was in
High school. I started
playing badminton
competitively when I was
year 9 in my high school
in where we went to
other schools and
compete with their
teams there. Now I just
play badminton as a
hobby as it is fun and a
good way to keep fit
and be healthy

8. Church
Every Sunday I attend
church to worship god. I
attend a Korean church in
Christchurch while I
attend a English Church in
Dunedin. This image show

9. Studying
I study things I have
learnt from class
everyday as I am a
student. To me
studying is important
as I need to study in
order to reach my goal
which is to be an
occupational therapist
in the future. This is

10. Online shopping
I am a huge shopaholic particularly online shopping. I enjoy
going online and looking at clothes from Ebay. To me online
shopping is a fun way to waste time.

11. My goal is to become an
occupational therapist and
that is why I am studying
and attending polytechnic.
