This document outlines the results of a needs assessment survey given to CSSA students to evaluate their multicultural competency and attitudes. The assessment asked students about their own cultural background and experiences, as well as recommendations for how to improve cultural understanding among students. Key findings included that students saw value in discussing different cultures and backgrounds, the impact of culture on communication and prejudice, and the need for self-reflection before trying to understand others.
