Romania is located in Central Europe with a population of over 21 million people. It is ethnically diverse, composed of Romanians, Hungarians, Roma, Ukrainians, Germans, and others. Places of interest include Bran Castle, the salt mines, palaces, museums, and national parks. Romania hosts many festivals throughout the year celebrating culture, including the Snow Festival in April and the Medieval Arts Festival in July. Several films have also been produced in Romania such as Wild Dogs in 2003 and Elvira's Haunted Hills in 2002.
