I have received many constructive feedbacks such as:

I am getting enough support from my line manager's side.
Yet, I was the one who always wanted to do something better. If I could manage a
mentor from outside, that would be very much helpful for me here.
4 MONTH REFLECTION REPORT
Q1, How has your role developed since
you began your placement?
 I have increased my decision making skill
 I was able to develop my skill of budgeting
 I was also able to demonstrate the system of the targeting resulting into the
having the capability of forecasting the total thing
 Calculation of budget and cash overflow statement was also learnt here
Q2, Describe how your communication skills have
developed since you started your placement?
The communication skill has increased here very perfectly. The skill was developed here
because of the demonstration of many things. The communication skill was developed
here in many ways like
 Face to face communication
 Coping up with stressful situations
 Coping up with conflict situations
 Different formal and informal meetings
Q3, Describe how your organisational skills have
developed since you started your placement?
Organisational skills developed:
 meeting activities and deadlines
 target setting and target meeting
 balancing conflicting demands

placement?
Benefits I have got from the placement:
 Professional activities
 Budgeting skills

Q5, Is there any part of placement that you aren’t
enjoying? If so, what do you think you could do or the
organisation could do to change this?
 In the organization, I found some problems in case of synchronization.
 In the accounts department, I have faced many problems like the collaboration of different
book keepers that was resulting into many kind of mislead here.
 A perfect organizational behavior can implement the entire system.
Q6, Describe any situations since your last report
where you feel you have achieved something
professionally or overcome some obstacle?
 I had gained some knowledge related to the urgency management.
 I fell into some problems in the book keeping criteria.
 Basically not only me, it was whole department. We lost some data very unexpectedly and
later we worked together for the management of this problem.
 I was also successful here as well and was not able to deal with it alone.
 The thing has made me understand the strength of the team.

 I can say that the whole placement was very much successful.
 Yet there were some problems that are needed to be managed here.
 I have worked and try to increase the team building skill. Irony is, the rate of collaboration
here was really low resulting into the demonstration of low team building.
 From the thing, I have learnt that the importance of collaboration is very much high.
 Even if everyone is working on their own, team building skill will be very much effective for
the achievement of the goal. So, these are the basic lessons that I have learnt here.

to move forward within the organisation:
■ Who would you talk to?
■ What did/could you read/study to get ideas on ways in
which to improve?
 The organization will be a very good platform for my improvement. I would talk to my
seniors, senior management to consult.
To improve:
 I will need to be more efficient in software like Microsoft Excel and Enterprise Resource
System.
 I will need to nourish so many things like my professional skill, my interpersonal skill and so
on.
 I will need to develop my leadership skill because I will become manager here.
 I will need to increase my communication skill here as well.
 I attended different types of seminar related to the career that has helped me very good in
the way.

 I can say that the people of Bretford company was very much flexible to me.
 My line manager was also very much helpful who helped me to deal with many
unwanted situation.
 I will be working for the demonstration of these issues in the next periods of my
life and I hope for a very great of Bretford company.

 The replacement activities were one of the most effective activity that was done by
me.

Where are the gaps in your skills and
knowledge?
 Team building ability is one of the strongest ability that is needed to be maintained
here because of the collaboration of the team.
 If the collaboration between team is not at the best level, the organization will not be
able to manage to win in the long run.
 As everything was managed by the automated system, I was required to be a part of it.
But because of the less collaboration, some of the data got vanished and specifically
that was about to pose so many problems for the organization.

 Another special issue that is needed to be managed here is research style.
 Research was the toughest issue that is needed to be given here.
 I was given with so many files but I forgot to do so many things that hindered me to make
the entire decision making.
 The decision made by me was also problematic here because of the usage of the system.
How will you overcome these gaps for
your future learning and career?
 For the solution of the team building issues, I can increase my collaboration with
different community.
 I can do different types of courses that will be helpful for the demonstration of
the entire system.
 Besides, I can get connected in different types of clubs who is working for the
betterment of the society.
 In case of social work, team building skills can be increased very enormously
resulting into the upsurge of the entire skill even if in the corporate sector.

 I am also facing many problems in case of research.
 I was given with so many things and now they are demonstrated in different sectors.
 Practice can be the only way of solving the gap. The more I practice, the more I will be
able to suit in the research system.
 Besides, research is a very strong tool so I should increase my ability of reading.

  • 8. Q6, Do you feel you are getting the support you need? If no, what do you need? I am getting enough support from my line manager's side. Yet, I was the one who always wanted to do something better. If I could manage a mentor from outside, that would be very much helpful for me here.

  • 14. Q5, Is there any part of placement that you aren’t enjoying? If so, what do you think you could do or the organisation could do to change this?  In the organization, I found some problems in case of synchronization.  In the accounts department, I have faced many problems like the collaboration of different book keepers that was resulting into many kind of mislead here.  A perfect organizational behavior can implement the entire system.

Q6, Describe any situations since your last report where you feel you have achieved something professionally or overcome some obstacle?  I had gained some knowledge related to the urgency management.  I fell into some problems in the book keeping criteria.  Basically not only me, it was whole department. We lost some data very unexpectedly and later we worked together for the management of this problem.  I was also successful here as well and was not able to deal with it alone.  The thing has made me understand the strength of the team.

Critical analysis and reflection on the above. ■ What worked and what did not? ■ Why? ■ What lessons have been learnt?  I can say that the whole placement was very much successful.  Yet there were some problems that are needed to be managed here.  I have worked and try to increase the team building skill. Irony is, the rate of collaboration here was really low resulting into the demonstration of low team building.  From the thing, I have learnt that the importance of collaboration is very much high.  Even if everyone is working on their own, team building skill will be very much effective for the achievement of the goal. So, these are the basic lessons that I have learnt here.

I would talk to my seniors, senior management to consult. To improve:  I will need to be more efficient in software like Microsoft Excel and Enterprise Resource System.  I will need to nourish so many things like my professional skill, my interpersonal skill and so on.  I will need to develop my leadership skill because I will become manager here.  I will need to increase my communication skill here as well.  I attended different types of seminar related to the career that has helped me very good in the way.

Where are the gaps in your skills and knowledge?  Team building ability is one of the strongest ability that is needed to be maintained here because of the collaboration of the team.  If the collaboration between team is not at the best level, the organization will not be able to manage to win in the long run.  As everything was managed by the automated system, I was required to be a part of it. But because of the less collaboration, some of the data got vanished and specifically that was about to pose so many problems for the organization.

Where are the gaps in your skills and knowledge?...Contd.  Another special issue that is needed to be managed here is research style.  Research was the toughest issue that is needed to be given here.  I was given with so many files but I forgot to do so many things that hindered me to make the entire decision making.  The decision made by me was also problematic here because of the usage of the system.

How will you overcome these gaps for your future learning and career?  For the solution of the team building issues, I can increase my collaboration with different community.  I can do different types of courses that will be helpful for the demonstration of the entire system.  Besides, I can get connected in different types of clubs who is working for the betterment of the society.  In case of social work, team building skills can be increased very enormously resulting into the upsurge of the entire skill even if in the corporate sector.

How will you overcome these gaps for your future learning and career?...Contd.  I am also facing many problems in case of research.  I was given with so many things and now they are demonstrated in different sectors.  Practice can be the only way of solving the gap. The more I practice, the more I will be able to suit in the research system.  Besides, research is a very strong tool so I should increase my ability of reading.
