PART 2: FINAL APPRAISAL MEETING AND FORM
At the end of the internship, please meet with the student to discuss his/her performance in the second half of
the placement, referencing the marks and notes from the Midpoint Appraisal Form above.
A soft copy of this form should be emailed to internship@fie.org.uk or faxed to 0207 591 7755.
In the box below, please describe the student’s performance in the placement, specifically noting any
improvements or developments since the midpoint appraisal was completed above.
Final Overall Performance Score: 61
Final comments: Lizzie has been a joy to work with - she has embraced her overall project with enthusiasm
and dedication. Whilst undertaking one main project Lizzie has also taken on many other ad hoc projects as
well as working within the PR team one day a week to develop and learn about press and media.
At her review we discussed the need to always seek approval for work on projects before printing them/final
presentation to ensure the the work matches the objectives of the project.
What advice would you offer the student for future employment? You've got some great projects now to add to
your CV; if you remain committed to going into the Third Sector as your career you have a good bas elevel of
knowledge for fundraising events and PR which you should ensure is added to your CV. You can continue to
build upon this with your other volunteer experience and any new roles you pick up whilst still at college.
Please do feel free you use me as a reference.
Date final form completed: 19 December 2014
