“Promote, enforce and implement
Environmental Education (EE) initiatives in
entire regional territory, within the frame of a
life long learning strategy and of policy and
methodology integration at every governmental
level.”

16 Centers:
• related to public organization at different
governmental levels (Municipalities, Mountain
Communities, Parks)
• spread throughout Region and representative
of different type of territories (urban, rural,
coastal)

• Education Typologies: mainly formal and non-formal; informal to a
less degree
• Briefly, some of the main functions of Centers within the System
are:
• Monitoring territory educational needs and already existing responses
• Support construction of g-local strategy for ESD
• Development of communication, education and social learning programs
consistent with Public Administrations political strategies.

Each Center role (whatever is its administrative level) must integrate its activity with others’ local agencies one, with an action of coordination and of methodological support.
