"A word that is used to name a person, animal, place or a
thing is called a Noun."
Nouns are also called as naming words.

Rules of Use
 Proper nouns are always capitalized in English, no matter where they fall in a sentence.
 A common noun is not capitalized unless either it begins a sentence or appears in a title.
 The indefinite article A is used to convert the proper noun into the common noun.
 Countable nous can be used with articles as a/ an and the or quantities such as a few and many.
