Nets connects fintech companies to over 240 banks through a single API and connection, simplifying the process compared to fintechs connecting directly to each individual bank. This single connection through Nets' platform reduces costs, complexity, and workload for fintechs while also providing value-added services and faster access to markets. Nets also aims to facilitate open banking by creating an API marketplace that allows fintechs to reach numerous banks and third-party providers through a single connection.
PSD 2 aims to foster innovation, open up competition, and enhance consumer protection in payments. It introduces new types of payment service providers and establishes higher security requirements. There is still uncertainty around the timeline for implementing PSD 2 and its regulatory technical standards in Norway due to the country not having processed PSD 2 through the EEA agreement yet. New players under PSD 2 will be subject to strict licensing and operational requirements to help manage risks, and supervisory cooperation across borders will be improved.

3. Consider the journalist's publication and target audience when crafting the pitch. Know what types of stories and topics typically interest their readers.
