This document analyzes the facades of three commercial buildings in Bandung, Indonesia - Perahu Jeans Factory Outlet, Amaris Hotel, and Sapulidi Restaurant - based on Rob Krier's theory of facade components. It identifies the key facade elements of each building, including portals, entrances, ground floors, windows, doors, signs, ornaments, and roofs. The document also discusses the functions and geometry shapes represented in the buildings' designs. Color sketches are provided to simulate graphic analyses of the facades.

2. CONTENT
PROBLEM
•To Analyze some commercial buildings facade is looked from function
aspect and suitability with the theory of facade component with the case
studies are Perahu Jeans Factory Outlet, Amaris Hotel and Sapulidi
Restaurant on cihampelas street, Bandung.
• To analyze Rob Krier‘s theory about facade component
• To translate the symbols function and geometry shape which is in the
building
SOLUTION
To design facade or one of the three building theirselves which less of the
element facade of the commercial building in this case is Perahu Jeans.

3. Rob krier in his book entitled
“Element Of Architecture Design
Profile” explains the word facade
which was taken from latin
language “facies” which means face
of the apperance , so when we talk
about the face of the building,
facade which was meant is the
building which faces to the street

Function in architectural meaning is one
architectural principle where the building’s
shape have to be completed by schematic
aspect and technique of the architectural
moderanization (rationalism), which is
suitable with the theoretical which is wider
and forms the question, symbolic,
philosophy, politic and economy social.
