The document describes a school garden project at Garinger High School. Students from Garinger HS and other schools, along with parent volunteers, participated in the garden. The students helped design and build garden beds, and then planted a variety of vegetables and herbs. They learned how to mix soil and fertilizer and care for the plants. The students were able to harvest the fresh vegetables and herbs they had grown. They enjoyed cooking and tasting foods made from the garden produce. The garden provided learning opportunities for the students and a source of healthy food for the community.
