Child labor violates human rights by denying children an education and subjecting them to poor working conditions for low wages. Children who work often do not attend school and instead labor for long hours in unsafe environments. They may work from 6am to 7pm for only 20 cents and be exposed to verbal, physical, and sexual abuse. Child labor takes away children's happiness and opportunity to develop skills and knowledge through schooling. In conclusion, it deprives them of their basic human rights.
