3. Check Out Policy
Students may not leave school during the day unless a
parent come to get them. If a parent has a good reason
to take is child out of school, the parent must sign the
child out at the office. Reasons other than those
involving emergencies, sickness, or death are not good
ones. It must also be remembered that even though a
student is given an excused absence, he must make up
work he has missed.
4. Learing System
Tutoring
Leap remediation will be offered to
eligible 8th grade OJHS students
beginning during the first semester of
school, if parish/stat funding permits.
A permission form and tutoring
schedule will be sent home with all
eligible students before tutoring
begins.
Fines
Fines may be charged for overdue
libary books, lost, damaged or
destroyed textbooks, libary books,
workbooks, or other school property
lost or damaged.
