ADMISSION
Admission is open to classes Kindergarten onwards Doon Bharti Public School. We aspire to
produce students who are excellent in academics as well as social and ethical values, skills and
attitudes to contribute positively to the society. The admission process is designed to test both
aptitude and attitude for middle & senior classes. While the test assesses the proficiency in
various subjects, it will also reveal the child's problem-solving skills. Portions integrated in the
admission process will also examine the applicant’s belief and value system on the basis of
which he/she makes decisions and the way he/she handles and negotiates the external world. We
believe that this method of testing the student will allow us to look at him/her holistically
AGE CRITERIA
Eligibility criterion for various classes is based on the age of the child. The applicant's age is
recorded as per birth certificate which determine the eligibility for admission to a particular
class. It is recommended that child seeking admission in nursery class must be above the age of
three years
REGISTRATION
Registration form for Admission for the Academic Sessions are available from 1st April
onwards. Registration Form should be dully filled in all respects. A special Registration Number
will be given after filling the form. Parents are required to submit the Registration form to school
along with a recent passport size colour photograph of the candidate, father & mother. All
Charges are to be deposited in cash after the conformation of admission Parents are requested to

3. go through the Prospectus (which is also available on our school website) carefully before filling
the registration form. It is advised that parents should fill the Registration Form themselves to
avoid any incomplete information, failing which the registration will be cancelled. Applications
will be scrutinized and only those found complete in all respects will be selected for
Observation/Assessment Test. Intimation of the exact date and time, along with the Admit Card
will be provided at the time of submitting registration for applying for registration/ admission
does not imply admission, which is subject to Observation cum-Interaction/Assessment Test.
Admission is also subject to the availability of seats.
ADMISSION PROCESS
List of all successful candidates will be displayed on the notice board of the school. Parents of
successful candidates will be required to contact the school once for the completion of admission
formalities by depositing the required fee and other charges along with the necessary documents.
Documents to be submitted at the time of admission:
 School leaving/transfer certificate and previous year's st Report Card (without this no student from
Class 1 onwards will be admitted).
 Medical Certificate in the given format.
 Birth Certificate in original, to be brought for verification only.
 Recent passport size colour photograph of the candidate and parents.
 Admission will be cancelled if any variance is found between the particulars filled in the Registration
Form and the documents submitted for admission.
OBSERVATION-CUM-INTERACTION FOR CLASSES , NURSERY - UKG
Admission to classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Preparatory and Class I will be granted on the basis
of the Observation-cumInteraction. Presence of both the parents during this period is mandatory.
Parents will have to bring the Admit Card/s as par the date and time mentioned on the cards.
When they come for the Observation-cum- Interaction, Admit Card/s will have to be handed
over to the Teacher In-charge.
ASSESSMENT AND INTERACTION ND SESSION FOR CLASS 2 ONWARDS
Class 2 onwards, an assessment will be conducted which will be followed by an Interactive
Session & written test. Both the parents must be present in the School on the designated day.

4. Parents must bring both the copies of the Admit Card/s on the date and time mentioned on the
Admit Card/s, when they bring their child on the given date. Entire procedure may last three to
four hours. Parents are advised to plan their schedules accordingly. Before the commencement of
the assessment, Parents must hand over the student's copy of the Admit Card to the Session-In-
Charge.
SYLLABUS OF THE ASSESSMENT
Please note that the syllabus of the assessment for admission has been designed by a professional
team of educationists and psychologists to make it stress free for children.
TRANSPORT FACILITY
Transport facility is provided by the school at nominal charges. Special bus routes will depend
on demand and will be determined at the beginning of each academic year. School reserves the
right to change the bus routes as may be necessary from time to time. Parents will be duly
informed about the bus routes before the classes commence
