Image in Context: October 20th The Pre-Raphaelites were a group of Victorian artists who often included great detail of nature in their works. They also were concerned about how nature and the rural landscape was being eroded by the growth of cities such as Birmingham. Task: Photogrqph a. Examples of nature in the Digbeth area. Focus on the detail of plants, insects, trees, birds etc. b. Examples of Old meets New eg St. Martins Church & the Bullring, St. Michael’s School & the new South & City College c. Upload & Collage your photos.
