• Pre-embedded apps in the device may lead to revenue-sharing arrangements.
• Ringing Bells will rely on the promoter's reach into dealer and retail channels for

You should know this before buying….
• The first set of reviewers who have got the phone, have been posting on
how it is actually an Adcom Ikon 4, incidentally priced at Rs 4,100 on
Flipkart and other ecommerce sites. In fact, the Freedom 251 carries a
Tricolour sticker on the rear panel to conceal the Adcom branding.
• the device has not been BIS certified. In fact, it is not even listed, points
out another report. So, how can we be so sure it is safe to use and
adheres to the standards like radiation and so on, that are required for the
Indian market
• The idea of selling the phone at Rs 251 came to Chadha and his colleague
Mohit Goel, a director at Ringing Bells, on a midnight stop at dhaba on the
highway to Jhansi.
Government subsidiary to Phone
• Ashok Chadha (President) clarified to IBNLive that there is no subsidy
from the government for the Freedom 251.
