This document outlines a Flexible Instruction Delivery Plan for an 11th grade Media and Information Literacy core subject. The course introduces students to understanding media and information as tools for communication and development. Students will produce a living museum, electronic portfolio, or other creative multimedia work showcasing their understanding of different media and information resources. Key topics covered include media and information sources and languages, legal and ethical issues, and different types of media like text, visual, motion, and multimedia. Students will be assessed based on their ability to analyze, evaluate, create, and problem solve around these topics.
This module was designed and written to help you understand various media and information languages. Having been equipped with knowledge on media and information sources and having acquired the skills in finding accurate and relevant information sources, you will now be armed with another important tool for media and information literacy – media and information language. The scope of this module permits it to be used in many different learning situations. The language used recognizes the diverse vocabulary levels of students. The lessons are arranged to follow the standard sequence of the course, but the order in which you read them can be changed to correspond with the textbook you are now using.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Performance Task: The United Nations has started its 17 Sustainable Development Goal agenda, which will help set the tone and direction of the organization in the next 15 years. These goals will continue to focus on ending poverty, addressing
unsustainable consumption patterns and production, and protecting environmental resources. As a catalyst and advocate of one of these goals, your production team is tasked to produce a multimedia output, which will be uploaded on a chosen social
media platform. This output should significantly stir awareness among social media viewers and provide ways to contribute to the cause, particularly the youth that comprises the highest population on the web. The output will be rated based on: sources
selection and citation, use of symbols, and technicalities delivered in producing the advocacy media output (use different effective design elements and principles)
