1) Project Name: CLEARING
Project Details: Clearing of payments is necessary to turn the promise of payment (for example, in the form of
a cheque or electronic payment request) into actual movement of money from one bank to another.
Releases:
1. Fed Directory download
- After implementation of Fed Directory download project the latest information from FRB (Federal Reserve
Bank) is loaded regularly into CIF (Customer Information Facility) with little or no operator or developer
involvement.
- Related changes (Add, Update and Delete) have tested in CIF system.
2. OUR Processing enhancement – CBO (Credit bened override)
- The project was related to the processing fees when the client process the payment as OUR. Three new
screens have been added in CIF to support the enhancement.
- All the charges related to OUR Processing have been tested in CIF and GFP(Global Funds Processor).
3. LMPD – Local Market Payment delivery
LMPD – Local Market Payment Delivery is a payment service developed by USD clearing product
management to redirect commercial payment received without specified intermediary to a local in country
partner who will either convert transaction to FX or if conversion to FX is not possible, return the transaction
to US so that J.P. Morgan can execute the transaction as a USD payment.
4. Elimination of mail advices
- Business wants to eliminate the default generation of mail advices at the time of account creation. Mail
advice settings will be suppress automatically at the time of account creation thought various screens of CIF

Project Details:
- Liquidity is movement of Funds depends on the client’s preferences and daily cash flows.
- To ensure liquidity, balances are automatically swept to investment DDA account as the last debit at the end
of day and returned as the first credit with interest at the start of the next business day.
Systems:
1. AIP: Automated Investment Program
- Automated Investment Program is the very basic and important product of liquidity which is used for
overnight investment (sweeping).
- According to customer’s need, business offering various products which are under AIP such as REPO,
OFFSHORE, CP, FFI, FFB, IBF
- Testing various scenarios according to above mentioned product rules and to check calculations for
investment. Statement, daily confirms and reports are tested by UAT for account holders.
2. EAIP: Enhanced Automated Investment Program
- Basic logic is same as AIP with enhanced functionality of tiers, celling and investment cap.
- Testing scenarios for Cap EAIP & Tier EAIP and investment shadow & interest shadow accounts.
3. USDP: US Dollar Pooling
- Group members will give amount for investment to the accounts which are in negative status and will
have earnings from this process. Accordingly each group member will be benefited.
- Testing scenarios for groups according to negativity and positivity and concept of investment shadow
and interest shadow accounts
4. Custody:
- Titan system is another system which performs overnight sweeping but uses the automated system
used by Liquidity to calculate customer’s available amount according to daily activity
- Testing sinking between TITAN and LION.
5. RegQ:
- Amount available in Customer’s account after investing according to maximum investment (i.e.
Investment Cap) will also be available for getting interest.
- This is the added benefit for customers to get maximum profit. Business will also be benefited because
maximum amount is available for investment.
- Testing scenarios matching with PEG and Investment Cap criteria and to see investment and interest
calculations are correct.
