DESCRIPTION:
It was a web based application. Nexgen is a software developing and training
company. iTraining is a live on-line interactive program with experienced IT
professionals from all over the world which will certainly accelerate its
aspirants technological skills to a greater extent. We were four members in
testing team and we conducted manual testing for this project.
WHILE TESTING A WEB APPLICATION LET’S HAVE A FIRST WEB TESTING CHECKLIST:
1) Functionality Testing 2) Usability testing 3) Interface testing 4)
Compatibility testing 5) Performance testing 6) Security testing.
Test all the links:
Test the outgoing links from all the pages from specific domain under test.
Test all internal links.
Test links to jump on the same pages.
Test links used to send email to the admin or other users from web pages.
Test to check if there are any orphan pages.
Lastly, in link checking, check for broken links in all above-mentioned links.

PROJECT NAME:
Mutual Benefit Fund
DESCRIPTION:
It was a window based application. Mutual funds are open-ended investment
companies that pool investors' money into a fund operated by a portfolio manager.
This manager then turns around and invests this large pool of shareholder money in
a portfolio of various assets, or combinations of assets. Mutual funds may include
investments in stocks, bonds, options, futures, currencies, treasuries and money
market securities. Funds issue and redeem shares on demand at the fund's NAV, or
net asset value. During this project we conducted two levels of cycles. First cycle had
functional requirement test cases and Second cycle was based on security testing.
Security testing was very important for this project because which was mostly used
the database for stored purpose.

PROJECT NAME:
A Zwide Travel & Tour
DESCRIPTION:
Azwide travel and tour is one of the leading tour providers in Johannesburg, South
Africa. This was one of the overseas projects won by Nexgen. The website helped the
customers to book tours, plan their itinerary and leave feedback regarding their
service. As this was the first time the customer getting their web portal done, we had
lots of challenges in continuous change and customization. We followed a strict
configuration management for a perfect delivery of this project.
