Blue Eyes technology enables computers to understand and sense human emotions and behaviors by collecting data from sensors. It was developed by IBM researchers starting in 1997. The technology uses an emotion mouse to detect emotions through touch, artificial intelligence for speech recognition, eye tracking sensors to understand user focus, and Bluetooth for wireless communication between sensors and computers. The goal is for machines to interact with humans more naturally by understanding emotions and implicit commands instead of just explicit commands.
