- #9 I am going to talk about why you will love the new AutoCAD 2017. As ya’ll know Autodesk has made some big changes over the last year so I would like to help you understand what some of those changes are.
- #10 As you know, Autodesk does try to keep the innovation going. As you can see in this slide they really are trying to make your lives better. And if you haven’t already downloaded the new Autodesk Desktop app to your smart phone or tablet. You should get in now. I think there was an email that went out about a week or so ago… and I know ya’ll read ALL of Autodesk emails.
- #11 As we are all Consumers our expectations are high. I know mine are. We expect things to be continuously updated (that is what I pay for), we only want to pay for what we need, we always want to be connected so we can have the same stuff on all of our devices. I personally have mix of Android and Apple let alone my laptop,
- #12 This is kind of a redundant slide as we all know of the changes that they are doing. But I do believe that they are making these changes as the market is requiring it. You know we are all needy people… don’t lie… you know.
- #13 So things that they have done are Simplifying their licensing, and access to updates You can Personalize your AutoCAD to fit the way you and your colleagues work, with no disruptions You can Connect and collaborate your designs from any device or platform (which we love), from anywhere in the world And we can trust that they will keep innovating as they always do. I know that some of you wish that they did Other things… but that is a different discussion.
- #14 So as we said before, they have simplified the way you receive updates with the Autodesk desktop app. And the updates are a lot smaller then they use to be.
- #15 Again, you can personalize your experience in the new App. Thank goodness they went the App route… finally!!
- #16 As we all have the need to be connected, ( I personally think I lost a limb if I don’t have one of my devices ) Autodesk has made this easier to view drawings across any platform, share with ease across these devices and have a one stop destination for training and support.
- #17 As long as they keep adding things to the program that helps us be more productive… they are doing the right thing.
- #18 Autodesk 2017 allows you to simplify your licensing access, updates and versions. You can personalize AutoCAD to fit the way you work while collaborating from any device. And as we expect, they should continuing to change the program as OUR needs are change.
- #19 Let’s talk about some of the new things that they have done to save us headaches… or I hope saves us from headaches.
- #20 With the new Autodesk licensing platform you have a lower cost of entry with the flexibility of paying for what you need when you need it. You can easily ramp up your licensing or scale it back as your needs change. And with the new subscription “rental” , basically, you can always bill it back to your client per project.
- #21 With their new licensing structure you can control costs and predict your spend. As we talked about already, the lower cost of entry is GREAT!! You can also lock in your pricing with multi-year subscription plan options as well. (as we all know, over the years, our maintenance goes up the cost goes up and so on)
- #22 Take the power of AutoCAD wherever you go! So this is fun one, AutoCAD 360 Pro which is now included when you subscribe to AutoCAD allows you to View, edit & share drawings easily on your mobile devices and can be access from your cloud storage. We like this!!
- #23 You work hard to stay ahead of the change curve, so you need the technology and tools that keep you moving forward. By subscribing to AutoCAD, you get first access to every new release and software update. New tools help speed up design tasks, and seamless updates and ensure your work is uninterrupted.
