Clouds are visible masses of water droplets or ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere above the Earth's surface. Clouds are classified into high, middle, low, and vertical clouds based on their altitude and physical properties. High clouds form between 10,000 to 60,000 feet, middle clouds form between 6,500 to 25,000 feet, low clouds form below 6,500 feet, and vertical clouds can develop at many heights with strong updrafts.
