BECA is a non-profit organization in Nicaragua that provides technical school scholarships to high school graduates who cannot otherwise afford further education. It started in 2008 in Masaya, Nicaragua. BECA's scholarship program involves three months of computer training and three months volunteering in a primary school. Their goal is to facilitate continued education for motivated Nicaraguan students lacking financial resources. The process includes attracting candidates, qualifying them, and supervising successful recipients. One past recipient describes completing BECA's English course, obtaining a job at a call center, and being able to support his family as a result.

Modelling of air temperature using ann and remote sensing

Kenya report
ACORN Kenya Trust has had success organizing members in the Korogocho settlement of Nairobi, Kenya over the past year. Their membership has grown to over 400 people who participate in monthly meetings and issue-based campaigns. They have focused their first campaign on increasing education funding for school bursaries. Members are in the process of electing leaders and further developing the organization through capacity building trainings. ACORN Kenya Trust has also started an HIV/AIDS support group and is looking to do more organizing work around health issues in the future.

This primer is meant to guide the JCI Philippines local organizations for the 2017 implementation.
Bags To School (BTS) is a JCI Philippines National Project. It is aimed to promote primary education nationwide in line with UN-SDG’s Quality Education campaign, i.e., ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, particularly children in stressed areas. BTS started in 2014 as a National Flagship program, inspired through the joint project of JCI San Juan Pinaglaban and JCI Singapore Marina, was approved during the First National Board Meeting of 2014.

Play Soccer Ghana runs an after-school 'Do Your Homework' program in Ghana to help children with their studies and provide career guidance. In 2019, Common Goal funding helped them expand the program, serving more youth and improving quality. The program offers daily homework help, tutoring, and lessons on safety, IT skills, and reading. As a result, participants improved their educational performance and knowledge of how to protect themselves from kidnapping threats in the region. One student who benefited from the program was able to pass his exams and enroll in his top choice secondary school.
iCamp: Connecting Rural Youth to Employment Information
The document summarizes an iCamp event held in July 2017 that brought together organizations to address challenges rural Cambodian youth face in accessing employment information. Participants identified five initial challenges and voted to focus on improving communications of opportunities, skills development, and information on working abroad. They developed three prototype solutions: a job information hotline, a mobile skills app, and an international labor migration hotline. The event aimed to form partnerships to further develop solutions to connect rural youth to employment resources.
McNair Audit
The McNair Educational Foundation provides academic and financial opportunities to support students in Rutherford County, North Carolina. A communications audit found that while the foundation has a large social media following and produces engaging videos, it lacks a strategic communications plan and does not effectively promote its opportunities to the wider community. The COVID-19 pandemic has also hindered in-person engagement. Recommendations include developing audience-specific content on its website and social media, updating website photos and copy, and promoting online events to engage students during remote learning.

Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.

- 5. They started working in the city of Masaya in August 2008. How They Fulfil our Mission We facilitate technical school scholarships to Nicaraguans who complete a six-month screening process that we call "Course One." Course One is composed of: a. three months of computer training (keyboarding, word processing and Internet), and, b. three months of volunteering full-time in a Nicaraguan primary school.

After I graduate from the course I applied to in a call centre many times, but after a couple of days I received a phone call from a call centre saying I had a job interview. I was nervous I have all the interviews, at the end they told me ¨congratulation you get the job¨, I did not believe it I thought it was a dream but not it was true.
