1. Posterized Self Portraits
Grey scale collage cut-outs

23. Draw grid on original photo

24. Map out areas of
five different values

25. Draw a 3 inch grid on
15 X 18” paper

26. Enlarge image on larger paper

27. Trace a second and a third copy of large
image on 15 x 18” paper

28. Cut out the larger shapes first.

29. Use the dominate value to cut out
the large piece.

30. You can layer other shape on
larger shapes

31. Now cut up the larger shape into
the smaller ones needed.

32. Use the holes in the shape to place
the smaller shapes
in the correct location

33. Compare to
photo to see
what shapes you
may have
missed.
