As of July 1, 2013 Colorado (CBI) instated
a fee to conduct a Background Check
We must first collect the fee BEFORE
submitting the background check

Now you will use the EZ Arms program
to fill out the required 4473 and
background check

8. Firearm
Account
All Firearms MUST be rung under the
#103800 Firearm Account
Simply enter 103800 in the customer field
at the top of the screen
Press Enter
9. Pop-up boxes
A series of pop-up boxes will prompt

11. Firearm Sku
Now scan the firearm and select qty
Ensure it is the correct description and
pricing
Enter to Post
13. GTERMS
Be sure to let you customer know that
All Firearm and Ammunition Purchases
are FINAL
Once Posted it will also print on the
customers receipt.

14. Signature
Capture
The GTERMS will initiate a signature
capture on the Pin Pad
The customer must sign acknowledging
that there are no refunds or exchanges
on firearms or ammunition
15. Complete
Transaction
Now you will choose which tender the
customer will pay with to complete the
transaction
Be sure to print an additional copy of
the invoice. 1copy will go to your
customer, and the other will attach to the
4473 packet to file.

Here is an example of where all the
information we captured in the
Customer Information Screen now
shows on the invoice of the sale.
Note where the customer & Firearm
information print.
Feel free to highlight the serial # and let
the customer know to keep the record in
a safe place.

2. Printed Background approval page
3. Copy of Background Fee Paid (CO only)
4. Copy of Transaction
5. Attach the boot tag to the front left corner
and staple all together
