1) To check a gift card balance, select the No Sale option, then select Gift Card Maintenance and Check Balance. Swipe or manually enter the gift card number to view the balance. 2) To sell a gift card, input the gift card SKU and select the quantity and amount. The gift card will then be activated after payment is received by scanning the gift card at the pin pad. 3) To redeem a gift card, scan it at the total screen like a credit card. If the gift card covers the full amount, the transaction completes with the remaining balance printing on the receipt. If a balance remains after applying the gift card, the customer pays the difference using another tender.

To Inquire about a Gift Card Balance
Select the < - > No Sale Key
Select option G

From here you will
Select option 2

5. Scan Gift Card
Now you will swipe the Gift Card thru
the Card Reader or you may manually
input the card #
Select OK
And the balance on the card will show

Select your Qty
Input your amount $5-$500
Press Enter to Post the Sku

Now you will select the method of
payment for the Gift Card and proceed
as normal transaction

Once Payment is received, the Gift Card
Activation will pop-up
Scan Gift Card through the Pin Pad to
activate
Two receipts will print.
One for the money taken
One for the Gift Card Activation

Just scan the GC just like a credit card
It will remove the total funds from card
If $$ remains on the card, the
transaction will complete and the
balance will print on the receipt

The customer will pay the remaining
balance with the tender of their choice
Transaction Complete
