Basbas plans to increase her network of colleagues by 25%.

10. J.L. Basbas’s Positioning vs. The Competition
As a new member of the “30” club, J.L. Basbas may be slightly older and less
experienced in comparison to other candidates. Her work history has revolved
mainly around customer service positions and didn’t make a pivotal change until her
attendance at Full Sail. While pursuing her degree online, Basbas actively sought
internship opportunities in order to gain some experience related to her chosen field
of expertise. Her focus throughout her career journey will be primarily focused on
the eco-friendly industry, a quality that differentiates her from fellow students who
are focusing on the sports and entertainment industries. Once graduating, she will
have both a degree and a few years of experience under her belt. Although J.L.
Basbas may be a bit older than those also entering their career at the entry level, she
brings a strong sense of maturity to her work. She has grown to become committed
to her values in life and will bring that level of commitment to all her work. With a
willingness to continue to grow and learn on a daily basis, Basbas will prove to be
an excellent addition to any employer or client who put their faith in her talents.

Based off of the requirements of current jobs listed related to content marketing, J.L.
Basbas has a lot of room for improve on many of the skills that employers are seeking in
their candidates. Analytic journalism is an area which will be one of Basbas’s focuses as
she continues her education at Full Sail. The mastery of Microsoft Suite is also an area
that Basbas lacks expertise. Thanks to the many programs needed to complete
assignments in her Full Sail courses, she will perfect her ability to successfully create
Microsoft Suite documents as she continues her education. Through fully committing
herself to the comprehension of the material and how it applies to the world of
marketing will be the driving force to J.L. Basbas becoming proficient in the areas she is
currently lacking. While obtaining her BS in Internet Marketing, another requirement of
the content marketing positions currently listed, Basbas will proceed to work on another
area that is in need of improvement—her work experience in relation to internet
marketing. By actively seeking internship and entry-level opportunities, J.L. Basbas will
welcome any chance for growth as to beef up her experience within the marketing field.

brand. Through a combination of active networking and publishing
content related to her Caregiver/Explorer brand archetype, Basbas
plans to increase her LinkedIn connections and social media
followers by 25% on or before December 2020. Upon graduation,
she aspires to make an impact in the eco-friendly industry through
content marketing. Working for like-minded companies, such as
United By Blue, J.L. Basbas will continue to add valuable experience
to her background. Her hopes are to eventual start her own content
marketing company whose main clientele are companies who give
back to the world and those in it. Her content marketing company
will go by the name of Mahalo Marketing and will bring a sense of
gratitude to the clients it collaborates with. Working along side other
talented content marketers, J.L. Basbas successfully brings Mahalo
Marketing services worldwide by 2040. With writing a motivational
book—“Moving to Move”—in addition to her current ambitions,
Basbas’s passion within her career field has the possibility to bring
real change in the eco-friendly industry.
