This document provides summaries of three projects by John David Scott between 2009-2011: [1] A wetland classroom in the Shaw Nature Reserve that expresses the complexity of an ecosystem through built form. [2] Artist housing and studio space integrated into a narrow urban site in Midtown St. Louis through layered intersecting programs. [3] A mixed-use space in the Delmar Loop comprised of dorms, studios, and a gallery to study art in a public setting. The document includes drawings, models, and photographs documenting the design process and proposals for each project.
