Dear Members,
Friday saw 14 of our members participate in the first RYA First Aid Course happening at CYC
in 2018. We hope that they learned a lot and had an enjoyable day! In the evening, Robin
Cole and Felicity Lees gave a talk on the Pioneer Trust, with around 40 people attending. It’s
good to know these talks fire such interest and we hope to host many more speakers
throughout the year. On Saturday evening, Adrian and Judith Gibbons represented CYC at
Royal Corinthian Yacht Club for their Committee Dinner, where they enjoyed a delicious
meal and a fantastic night out. The BOD AGM on Sunday was also a success, with many
plans set in motion for the forthcoming sailing season. We look forward to seeing them all
on the water soon!
