2. Joys and Blessings The beginning of a new school year for our children and teachers (and football, too).

3. Prayer Concerns Rick Pottle had surgery on Friday for kidney stones. Joyce Riddle’s son, Patrick Riddle, has pneumonia.

4. Prayer Concerns Marion MacDonald’s daughter-in-law, Patty Brewer is recovering from hernia surgery. For those out of work and struggling. Prayers for our military families at home and overseas

6. Wednesday Evening Youth Program Let’s try a change to Sunday evening at 6:30 pm Open to all youth, so bring your friends!

7. The Pentateuch We are studying the most ancient Books of our Bible. We’re led by Jim Fonda every Sunday morning at 8:45. Come when you can, you aren’t required to attend every Sunday.

10. Steadfast Heart in the Park Free Concert: Friday, August 27 at 6:30pm Dorada Park - East A & 2nd Street

11. Stanislaus River Rafting Trip Sat., August 28th. 8:30 am to 4 pm, meet at CUMC. Equipment & instruction by Sunshine Rafting. $22 per person (Includes hot dog lunch). Bring water shoes, sunscreen, water, snack. RSVP Claudia Parrish or Jim Austin by Aug. 20.

12. Habitat for Humanity Youth Project If you are between 10 and 18 years old, your help is needed! Join us for a fun-filled day on a construction site that is normally closed to those under 16.
