This document discusses education, the labor market, and youth unemployment in Greece. It finds: 1) Youth unemployment in Greece is 48.3%, much higher than the EU (20.4%) and Eurozone (22.3%) averages. 2) Popular industries for youth employment are entertainment, technology, retail, tourism, food/drink, and education. Jobs with low incomes and prospects are avoided. 3) Employers seek workers with skills, foreign language ability, and computer expertise. Schools should provide more vocational guidance, work experience opportunities, and connections to professionals to help students transition into the workforce.
