Thesis statement
The involvement of the U.S. Military in Jordan and Turkey in
2012 was characterized by the civil war in Syria that had to be
contained.
The U.S. Military played an important role by making sure that
the Syria Civil War does not spread across borders and affect
other countries. This helped in reducing the loss and damage
that would be caused.
Part 2

world at large.
The spring of the Arab (2011)
An individual’s protest against corruption turned to be a
regional issue that lead to an overthrow of four Arab leaders
from the following countries: Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and Yemen.
These revolutions made it necessary for the United States to
relook at its relations with the Arab world; they affected the
foreign policies of the United States.
List three (3) aspects of US history since 1865 that have led to
the US's rise as a world super power policeman

II where America has taken on a policing role.

(Wolfe, 2012)
· America’s support to Poland and Russia
List three to five (3-5) driving forces that fueled international
policy decisions involving the international incidents you
outlined previously
· The North Atlantic Treaty which later gave birth to NATO
