Page 1 (Cover): Create an acrostic poem using your name—10 points Page 2: Write two original similes—5 points Page 3: Write two original metaphors—5 points Page 4: Write an alliteration, and include a picture—5 points Page 5: Write a sentence using an onomatopoeia, and draw a picture to accompany it—5 points Page 6: Write an idiom, and include a picture—5 points

Poetry Project-Continued Page 7: Write a sentence using personification and a sentence using hyperbole (these should be two separate sentences)—10 points Page 8: Create a concrete poem—10 points Page 9: Write an autobiographical poem—10 points Page 10: Write a haiku, and draw a picture to accompany the poem—10 points Page 11: Write a diamonte poem—10 points Page 12: Copy the poem “Dreams” –10 points (5 for copying the poem correctly, and 5 for reciting it) Quality of work—5 points Remember, this is a TEST/PROJECT GRADE.
