Creating podcasts involves four main steps - capture, edit, export, and publish. Audio or video is first recorded using programs like GarageBand, Audacity, or iMovie. It is then edited and exported as an MP3, MP4, FLV, or MOV file. Finally, the file is uploaded to a server, an RSS feed is generated for subscriptions, and the podcast is listed online and on platforms like iTunes.
