Recent massacre in Norwey has made it clear for all of us that the European society, which was considered
to be very secular and peace loving is no longer the same. The Scandinavian countries, which were known
for peace and tranquility are now facing the problem of extremism. We need to look to the educational
institutions for long term solutions. We need to impart education, which encourages the youth to cultivate
qualities for tolerance, adaptility, and fills a sense of responsibility towards mankind. Let us revive our
education system and make it the best instrument for transformation of our society. The entire world is today
facing the problems of terrorism and therefore there is a need to introduce morality and tolerance in
education system. The educational institutions must enable the students to understand the world in a better
perspective..
