Playing Geoguessr’s Daily Challenge
1) Go to the website www.geoguessr.com and register for a free account.
2) To play, create a free account by clicking on the PLAY FREE NOW button.
3) After you have registered and verified your Geoguessr account, click on the
Continue button.
4) Select the game, the Daily Challenge, which has 5 different global locations.
Note: Without a free account, you can only play 5 minutes every 15 minutes. Each
game has 5 locations.
5) Click on the Play Today’s Challenge button.
6) Click on the Start Game button.
7) Click on the Play button.

8) A Street View location appears. Look around the screen for clues.
Clues may include:
• street signs
• road surface or curbs
• buildings
• plants or vegetation
• weather such as snow, sun or rain
• clothing
• company names on buildings or signs
• traffic signals or street lights
9) Click on the Google map and click on where you think this place is located. Your
avatar will appear on your guess.
10) After the location guess is pinned on the map, click on the Guess button.

11) The results appear on the screen. The distance between your guess and the actual
location is shown as well as how many points you have earned.
12) To continue, click on the Play Next Round button. A new Street View location
appears.

13) After the last location guess, the player clicks on the View Summary button.
14) The final score is displayed.
15) Click on the Game Breakdown button to see the details of the game on a world
map.
