A student conducted an experiment to test whether a plant grown with water or miracle grow fertilizer would grow faster. The student hypothesized that the plant with miracle grow would grow faster. However, the results showed that the plant with only water grew the most over 10 days, while the plant with miracle grow did not start growing until later and eventually died. The student learned that plants need water more than fertilizers to grow and that miracle grow may not be effective or was used in too high of a quantity.

Major Pitcairn led British troops to Lexington, Massachusetts on April 19th where they encountered 77 minutemen. Pitcairn ordered the minutemen to disperse but a shot was fired from an unknown source, starting a battle. The minutemen's leader Captain Parker then ordered his outnumbered men to disperse. After a few minutes of fighting that resulted in 8 minuteman deaths, the British marched on to Concord, though this battle helped spark the American Revolutionary War.

Over six days, the plant under the light grew the most, while the plant in the fridge did not grow at all. The plant by the window grew more than the fridge plant but less than the plant under the light. Prince concluded that his hypothesis that plants would grow faster in normal conditions was correct.

Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes.
